    CELTIC are delighted to announce that Kieran Tierney has signed a new six-year deal which will see him remain at the club until at least the summer of 2023.

    The 20-year-old is a firm favourite with Celtic supporters, and has already clocked up nearly 100 first-team appearances for the Hoops since making his debut against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on May 2015.

    He was an integral part of the treble-winning invincibles last season, while this season he’s captained the team twice and scored one of the contenders for goal of the season, with a blistering 40-yard strike against Kilmarnock in the League Cup.

    And Celtic supporters will be ecstatic that Kieran has committed his long-term future to the club he’s always supported.

    Must be now, when he signed his last one i think it took him up to 10-12, so don't see why he'd sign such a long one without being one of the top earners.

    Such a long contract can assume it puts his wage up there with the higher earners. First name on the team sheet etc.
    And no doubt I imagine he has * loads of clauses and bonuses and yearly wage rises etc.
