Will have done his international hopes no harm at all with Roberto Martinez in the stand last night. There was a lot of pressure on the guy, just back from injury, champions league, hometown boy and he delivered!

I've always stuck up for him as a defender and pointed out that his errors were due to his lack of game experience (what these rich clubs do, buying all the best young talent and not giving them game time is horrendous). You could see from the very beginning that he had the talent and the physical attributes to be a great defender.

However I've always slated him as a ball playing defender, I was certain he'd always be a donkey with the ball at his feet and for that reason wasn't good enough for Celtic. I thought he'd find his level in the English Championship due to that. I'm very, very happy to be made to look daft and to have to eat my words on that score. He's no Virgil (who is?), but he really is a competent ball player now.

Major credit to Brendan for developing him, to the big man himself for his hard work and great attitude and also a little credit to Ronny (yes, really!) for spotting his talent and starting his development.

As long as they don't batter into each other....Jozo needs to keep his MillerKiller tackles well away from Boyata

Something that can be said about a few players in our team or at least have taken their game to the next level under Rodgers.

They'll both go for the ball, collide with each other and injure each other while creating a mini earthquake.

3 clean sheets since he's came back.

Crazy how big an impact he's made since coming back to the others around him. Delighted he's back now especially seeing as Brown's going to be missing.

Him and Jozo to step it up big time.

Yeah really impressive from him so far, thank * he's back! Looked rusty against Dundee but he's been immense in the Hun and Anderlecht games. Hopefully another clean sheet today!

I agree with this, and I'm 100% Brendan absolutely knows this.

One thing for sure, is Brendan is a wonderful motivator and man-manager - Boyata will gain endless confidence from what Rodgers will give him, regardless of any potential * ups by big bad Dedryck!

Gave the ball away 3 or 4 times in the opening 30 mins, had a great game midweek but really his passing needs to be better.
