True. He'd have known we were looking at bringing Paddy back though.

Definitely I think. He seems to upped his game since Roberts arrived back. Will be hard to leave him out on Saturday now. That said, he never seems to play well against them.

I've said this about Roberts since he came last season tbf. He's a fantastic player, and more technical etc. But he constantly wants that extra touch, frustrates the * outta me.

I Agree that it is strange Armstrong has a song ahead of him but we have had many great players even in recent times who never had a song. Petrov, Lambert and Naka

He's gotta start the next two games, surely he can't be dropped. Especially for Europe. He offers the outball, gets us up the pitch and tracks back.

Brilliant again tonight. Must start on Saturday and next week.

Him Sinclair and Brown are just on another level to everyone else just now.

I think Forrests upturn in form can be pointed directly to the minute Brendan Rodgers entered the club. Even last season he didn't really lose form, Roberts just entered superhero mode.

    That's a fair comment.

Agreed. He has been playing well long before Paddy came home.

Forrest is a great wee player, * love having him. Imagine having Forrest as an option during the MON years? But Paddy has that ability to go to the next level at times so there is no shame in Forrest being dropped for him.

Some difference in him. He is playing so much of the game between the posts now and he has great instincts. All that equals goals.

I would be disappointed if he didn't get 20 goals now this season, even accounting for rotation with him and Paddy.

What a problem to have, choosing between Paddy and James.

Nah, I said as an option, our bench during the MON years wasn't blessed with great depth.

Was always a goal scorer right back to lennys team , became more restricted to staying wide which cuts his goal ratio later under lenbo and ronbo , gets to roam more under Brendo .

Said it a few times but the biggest difference for me is his touch and composure. He just simply doesn't give the ball away and his control is exquisite.

Not to mention he works like a Trojan.
