Always liked him. And glad he was only loaned out, although a bit annoyed he was given a longer run in the team under Rodgers. Seems to b doin the biz for the sheep so here's hopin he keeps at it and Rodgers plays him next year.

Would have done a better job than anyone else upfront last night.

Was great there in that game against Motherwell

I think he could, but pace is the only thing holding him back. His technique, vision, touch, link up play etc are all excellent. He also is quite clever and skillful getting out of tight area's..

We'd need real pace from right back and around him to compensate his lack of pace. He's not slow but isn't the kinda pace merchant you'd want out wide..

Although that's true, he'll be learning a lot more where he is and it'll benefit him more in the long run.

Aye I know what you mean.

Has decent pace but not blistering. Should maybe consider him as an option there for sure, as I don't see him being our main guy at number 10.

If he keeps on improving then as we've seen from Rogic, it's not a necessity but helpful in the modern game..

I'd certainly have him in and around the squad next season as he's versatile anyway. 10, played either wing and even a false 9 before..

We should have called him back last week and stuck him up front, then sent him back out to the sheep on loan again! :56:

This boy looks the real deal. An interesting idea would be playing him wide right and using him like Roberts. He has great vision, good skill, hes pretty quick and has an eye for goal. I would like to see it happen for him here he has huge potential.

Sometimes you don't always need pace as a winger. I'm thinking that Patrick Roberts wasn't the fastest out of the blocks, despite having incredibly fast feet.

Doesn't look like the type of player to score with his head, but he's done it quite a bit with Aberdeen.

Roberts wasn't lighting quick and neither was Nakamura. Just shows that if you have great technical ability you don't need it for playing on the wing.

So glad we only loaned him to Aberdeen. Was worried that he was going to there permanently.

Definitely think he will be player of the year for them this year. Hope he gets more oppurtunities when he comes back here. Very talented and he is showing he is a real goal threat as well as creating goals for others.

Happy for him to be out on loan again, rather this than he sits waiting on rogic to get injured or something.
But if he comes back next season and doesn't get a look in - due to rogic and ntcham etc, then I'd do what man city are likely to do with Roberts and us, loan him out to a better league.
A promotion playing championship side if we could. A Fulham, Huddersfield, sort of club.

If he's consistently Aberdeens best player then surely we will give him his chance? We bought there other best player.

Stick him on the right. Anything to keep Forrest away.

Of course he will, that's the entire point of loaning him out.

If he keeps his form up over the season he'll be guaranteed a chance at the very least.
