    BBJ, under attack from most of us on here the last few months but in fairness he put himself about today and gave to the cause.

    Were quick enough to take strips of players when they * up BBJ was MOM today and lets hope he plays the way he did today on tues and the rest of the season.

    It's about time big john got some credit he scored 32 goals last season (i think) and has started this one with a hatrick he will be our top goal scorrer again this term but will still get stick from some quarters.

    Totally agree, him and Maloney worked tirelessly today. Petrov was our best midfielder, but Lennon, Thompson and McGeady did very little. Nakamura should walk into a midfield position, it's time to buy cover for Lennon, the clock is definetly running down for him.
    Telfer again did little wrong, the rest of the defence were shocking!
    Fair play to BBJ took his goals well, and was a constant thorn in the air for Motherwell.

    maloney done fantastic for 70 mins but then he looked tired, i thought GS should of replaced him with 20 mins to go.

    Yeah, can't agree more, a big majority on here were slagging him wanting him out, but the big mans stepped up and showed us all what he can do. I still personally didn't understand the notion 'get the 30 goal a season man out the team'. Didn't make sense to me. Him and Maloney looked a good partnership today. If that works, he might also make a good one with Aliadiere.

    TBH i was one of the get him ta * brigade but thats only cos i think he blows hot and cold.

    BBJ could score 3 goals a game (spl) if he put himself about the way he did today.

    big john ...might be gettin on...might be a lil over weight...might struggle at times in europe ...but if used wisely ...we have to win the league ...and hes the top scorer last season ...from the way hes started ..looks like he will be again...john is vital and lyal to celtic

    He did well today - excellent, even. At the same time I do feel he's not what the team needs. WGS said he wants pace and that is not what Hartson brings. He's not the right type of player for this team, although if he manages to score a goal or two a game this season then I can look past that :p

    he has not got pace but he does have strength and a very powerful shot i think hes what the team needs. He knock 30odd goals last season and he is already on 3 this season he just needs some1 who can play alongside him

    We all know what Hartsons strenghts are - particularly in the SPL but he just doesn't cut the mustard when it comes to European opposition as there are too many hardened, experienced defenders who can read him lke a book. As a big fan of Lenny i have to admit that either the fitness regime has knocked him out of his stride, or he has finally reached the end of his tether. Sad to see. :55:
