    Nakamura would have flourished in this sort of system/formation in the same role as Rogic, always felt he was held back at times by how rigid Strachan was with the 4-4-2.

    He's easily better than Nakamura in terms of ball skills and footwork, not as good with passing and crosses I'd say though.

    Nakamura was different gravy. I love Tom but he's not at nakas level just yet... Think he's the best talent we've seen in quite some time though

    I've never seen a player in the flesh hit a baw like Nakamura.

    Rogic's tekkers are potentially better but Nakamura is being severely underrated going by some in here. We will never see a better set piece taker again IMO.

    Cold open a tin of Beans with that left peg.

    Was Nakamura as good as Rogic at 23?

    Big Tam has still got his best years ahead of him - no disrespect to Naka who was an unbelievable player.

    Brendan Rodgers, the Celtic manager, has predicted that Tom Rogic will hit the 15-goal mark for the Parkhead side this season, if the Australian internationalist steers clear of injury.

    Rogic stole the moment at Hampden in May with a dramatic last-minute winner that delivered an unbeaten domestic Treble in Rodgers’ inaugural campaign at the club, but the 44-year-old believes there is more of the same to come.

    “He is an exceptional player and the beauty with Tom is that he has come back fit,” Rodgers told the official club magazine, the Celtic View. “Tom is one of the players right up to speed fitness wise as he been training and playing games for virtually all of his off-season.

    “He has come back and you see the level of his game. He’s a fantastic talent and if he can stay fit this year, he can go on and get 15-plus goals. “
