Exactly mate, this is a massive own goal for next Wednesday imo, it will be a boost to Rosenborg aswell, no matter what you think of them they get the place rocking.

 

You could argue that both are involved in political negotiations but both still have elements of armed struggle either officially or unofficially attached to their respective causes.

 

I'm not a fan of the board but I would like to know how much money the club would make or lose in comparison to having the stand open or closed if we factor the next fine fine in. I know the atmosphere has suffered over the years. I've been in the jungle. But In huge huge matches such as this coming up on Wednesday. I don't think there is any risk. It would be better with the GB but to suggest it can't be good is wrong.

 

it's about picking and choosing when a protest or display justifies the obvious repurcussion which will follow. flares are needless. Irish Republican banners to wind up Linfield is needless. A show of support for Palestine in a one-off game against Israeli opposition was justified (and raised thousands in the process).

Regardless of the content or outcome, both were politically motivated and that is against UEFA rules. So why is it OK to sometimes break the rules but when the same group breaks the rules again and it's deemed "unnecessary" and the content might not be to everyone's taste, they are suddenly demonised for it?

 

It was my mate who gave him the gun. Billy insisted he was doing the job and if he hadn't most likely it would have been my mate shot.

I never once said we shouldnt ever break the rules. We are a politically minded support and to abide completely by the "politically motivated display" UEFA rule would sterilise our support and club. I said we shouldn't break the rules needlessly with flares and Irish Republican displays. It seems the GB displays arent clever enough to decide what is justified and needless which has resulted in this temporary ban which will hopefully allow the penny to drop.

 

Exactly mate, in away games it only takes a small group of lads to get everyone going, plus if we get a good few goals place will be bouncing.
