Bit OTT FFS!! get a * grip.
Green Brigade do a great job but sometimes they have to think about the content especially the way these * are in UEFA are concerned as they cannot wait to uphold the moral high ground and hit someone hard(cheek of the corrupt *) GB need to stay withing the legal parameters to avoid the negative publicity for the Club, do you want the ground to end up like some of those poxy English grounds like Old Trafford etc,Prawn Sandwich brigade and no atmosphere.Flares should not be taken into the ground granted but dont read that bollocks in the SMSM mate and spout that *, the banners and displays are wonderful and the noise levels are fantastic and encourage other ends of the ground to make more noise, stick to reading the Record and the Sun maybe one day you will learn to think for yourself and wipe ur * with them rags and not read them:47:

The club, the Scottish government and the police have made it abundantly clear that flares and IRA songs are outlawed. Who are the GB to take it upon themselves to flaunt that?

If they have an issue with being criminalised for celebrating our heritage the way to get round that is everything but what they are doing.

They are reaping what they themselves have sown and they have no one to blame for that but themselves.

Was a weird one. Not casting doubt on your source but every single Linfield fan that I saw interviewed before the first game mentioned it as well so I don't know if it was one of those rumours that just grew legs.

Your exactly the same as the gb if you don't agree with them your less of a Celtic supporter in there mind total * from you m8

    I couldn't agree more.

I'm a Celtic fan and a die hard Irish republican, but I think the GB went a step too far. We pride ourselves on looking forward, being inclusive yet proud of what we are, and I think there are better ways to do this. Being overtly pro-PIRA doesn't sit well with many, and it gives all the ammunition the bad-as-each-other brigade need.

The GB should appreciate the parameters. They've kept the tradition of Parkhead being one of the most incredible atmospheres in European football and have even been given their own space in which to do it. But when the Huns sing their non-football songs i.e the only songs they know, we mock them. And yes, we do sing songs that define us, and that should be celebrated, but heat is going to come down on us when we use an image of an IRA volunteer.

We have fans from every single walk of life, and that's what we pride ourselves on. English and Welsh people love us because of our inclusiveness. Rightly or wrongly, the IRA made some tragic mistakes, and innocent people suffered as a result. Surely some of us can see how this could cause offence at worst, or at best, make people uncomfortable.

We cannot lose what we've built up in this last decade especially in terms of the stadium, the atmosphere and our image.

I'm not saying they get it right all the time, but I would say in general they are an accurate reflection of the clubs support. And I'm proud to have them as part of our fanbase.

    Again, flares fair enough..

Songs I disagree, just because the Scottish Government pass flawed legislation, doesn't mean we should abide by it..

And you don't need to be a member of the Green Brigrade to flaunt The Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act, pathetic and unworkable legislation.

i was told this before the game was played, as someone i no challenged the club on taking no tickets, the reason being that shareholders with a certain amount of shares are guaranteed a ticket for every game no matter were or when, so the question was put forward regarding full fulling this agreement and the UEFA scare mongering was Celtics reply, for this reason alone i would not be surprised if UEFA still hammer us, and feel Celtics response today was to try and show they are dealing with it, in the hope they go easy.

The same Act that judges keep saying is the worst piece of legislation they have ever seen, how many fans have been charged and convicted exactly over this pile of *.

Completely agree about the legislation and I'm an SNP member. It's brutally flawed.

They're not an accurate reflection of the clubs support at all. Parkhead on a Saturday afternoon isn't the place to sing about the IRA, there had been no sign of it for years with zero detriment to the atmosphere. They are at it, they are trying to push the boundaries further and further and the club have rightly called their bluff before they tarnish our reputation irretrievably.

That's a very short-sighted view. Where will we be in a couple of years if we are struggling and those extra 30,000 fans we have suddenly found are back at home watching the EPL on SKY ?

If it's a health and safety thing they have a point. Those flares in about all that plastic actually gave me the fear against Hearts, as much as I enjoyed looking at it.
