This is * outrageous. The guy has managed 2 competative games, one of which was a freak result and the other was at fir park where we couldnt win last season to wrap up the title when it really mattered. OK, we should be humping a bunch of wasters from Slovakia and we should be beating m'well but ffs, * happens. Knee * reactions from the fans dont help. I would rather read every anti-hoops article in the tabloids than threads like these.

In reality I don't think it matters what we all think, certainly at this point in the season. The board obviously back Strachan, and have let him bring in his own players. So he's here for the duration. I think we really have to get behind the team and support those who put themselves out there for our club be it the players or coaches. We are surely all celtic supporters faithfull through and through?

GS is as good as anyone for the job....

I have to disagree. MON left a good nucleus behind him - Petrov, Sutton, Lennon, Thompson, Hartson and some promising youngsters like Maloney, Beattie and McGeady. GS has spent £6m on top of this so to lose to Artmedia 5-0 is totally unacceptable. If we're not careful our season could be finished before it even began!

Hartson..apart from today..done * all for ages..never produces against biggerteams...
Lennon..past it...
Promising youngsters??....maloney is 22..thats no youngster in football terms...
Mcgeady has faded right out..Beattie was so good henever got a gme...

Like i said..£7 million pound is an average player in football today...trying to replace 9 with that kinda money is impossible...MON had money when he bought Sutton,Thompson, Lennon...

Yeah, that class.........let him win against Bratislava, get him in tha CL, let him win the Champion Chips ín Scottland and after that u kiss his *. * of U´r writting only *. How old r u 16, ok than I understand everything.

 

Thompson...When played on the left he is excellent (set up 2 today)
Hartson...not my cup of tea but scoring record can't be bettered
Lennon...gave 4 excellent years, lost a couple of yards but still a very valuable player
Sutton...fantastic player, his injury has a total fluke
Petrov...my favourite player and a credit to the club
McGeady...out of form but has great potential
Beattie...Scores almost every game he features, got us out of a hole today

£7m is as much as we have spent in about 3 years and Zurawsi and Nakamura will be big players for us in the future.

Who are you refering too when you say "shitload on dicks" as apart from Hedman (I was not the only one whofought he would have been great when we first bought him) I can't think of anyone.

 

If GS wants time he should be in Barlinnie what he's doing to our football club is criminal.F*ckin oxygen thief so he is.

 

I think we need to give GS a chance before we shoot him down, rememer Wim Jansen he lost a few at the start and we still won the 1997/98 championship, and if you are right about GS's capability, his stay might be even shorter than Wim's! lets wait and see.

Only about £1.5m on fees between the lot and Pearson might come good. I think your being a bit harsh on MON as he was one of the most successful managers in our history.

 

MON was a great manager, but some of his transfer dealings were awfull. Hartson, Sutton, Lennon, and Thomson have all been sound buys, but Hedman, Fernandez, Sylla, Camara, Juninho, Gray and Vega were all didies. Also giving players like Bobo an new contract was a rash decision, glad to see Strachan drop him, and IMO I would love to see him gone. MON was too loyal to his favourites, hopefully Strachan won't fall into the same trap.

 

Yeah lets get rid of GS he is sh*t, Celtic are way too big for GS.

My main point is this, we've seen Mjalby,Valgaeren,Laursen,McNamara leave. Who has replaced them, (remember we know now he had 7M to spend), Camara & Telfer. No one is going to convince me that any of the two of them is better than what we've lost. The strikers we had were doing the business at their end of the park.Therefore IMHO Strachan is totally naive in the way he has done his business and cannot be trusted anymore. People can say that I'm a glory hunter etc. but the performances recently is breaking my heart and I can't watch my beloved team being humiliated by total sh*te. If this makes me a glory hunter then so be it. I'll remain a Celtic supporter for the rest of my life as I have for the previous 45years.
