    Brought it on himself ?

    These Linfield / Rangers scum were chanting obscenities and abusing our player from the start.

    Plenty of Hun scum travelled over for the Piggy Parades and took the opportunity to join their ugly Brothers.

    * the lot of them.

    They were clearly shouting paedo paedo before he made his way to the corner flag..

    Surely if we're being factual, it was HIM that was PROVOKED..

    Or are we not allowed to PROVOKE the bigots by calling them exactly what they are? Jonny Hayes who has only just signed for us and had only been subbed on being subjected to it. Did he PROVOKE them as well? Or was that just because of what he is? Nobody has dared mention that though incase they are PROVOKED further..

    Weird how it gets mentioned in the papers etc when linfield throw missiles on to the pitch but when the same player was attacked with batteries at ibrox nothing was said.
    SMSM corrupt to the core.

    What good does it do the players or fans to get involved in nonsense with a club that is many, many levels below us?

    The orcs in the Linfield support have landed their club in serious trouble, Griffiths was right to point out the missiles but then should have just got on with it, tieing scarfs to goalposts was daft.

    Big question is. Why are Linfield fans so upset about 5-1? Got * all to do with them, so why get so upset about it? Why is that a provocative gesture?

    There would've been sevco fans in attendance,he could probably hear whatever they were shouting and decided to GIRU the scum.

    Good on him.

    Oh no, sevco wouldnt be so obsessed with us to go to one of our games. Thats a timmy thing to do. Ao clearly it is linfield fans, and when folk claim griffiths provoked them, then why do they feel provoked by a gesture of a scoreline that has nowt to do with them?

    Very true & one * of a contradiction.
    The scummy element of the Linfield fans, club work to discourage them and improve perception.
    The scummy element of the Rangers fans, club work to....... I don't think I need finish the thought.......

    To say a 6 finger gesture justified any potentially physical harm is laughable & I would disagree 100% & even tho I personally think he should leave the goalposts alone, again it doesn't justify a fan trying to get at him.

    Refs are a strange breed, I still haven't seen it confirmed anywhere exactly what the reasoning was from the ref. I suspect he gave it for time wasting but may change his mind & we might 'offically' see the gesture being blamed for being provocative. Especially after the ridicule from most of the media that has carried the story.
    I remember Adebayor getting booked for celebrating a goal for City in frony of the Arsenal fans. Never even left the field of play, just ran 70 yards & slid another 10. UEFA might play the provation card to justify it.

    Wasnt the 5-1 gesture the corner kick before the bottle? 60 Minute mark, then the bottle at the 64 minute.

    Griffiths could probably argue that it was a signal to the players in the box for a corner drill or something. haha

    He can do what the fxxx he likes. It wasnt offensive, anyway most of their dopes had only managed to count two or three fingers before he turned away.

    Ridiculous he's getting blamed in some quarters for this, though no unexpected

    How about football fans act like grown ups instead of throwing * because a player tied a scarf to a goal post?

    * Neanderthals

    been on holiday so catching up on posts; couldn't believe that happened but what I find more disturbing is the lack of shock/horror/outcry by the MSM; perhaps I`ve missed something but from what Ive seen online its reported in a haha manner ie player gets bottle thrown at him from crowd and ends up getting booked..
    Whats also disgraceful is Sevco opening up for the linfield fans; also pity help the poor folk of ayr on Wednesday when the bus loads of scum descend there for a stop enroute to govan.

    Id always settle for a win in these qualifiers even its only by a small margin but by * I hope we humiliate them on Wednesday.

    Did they throw stuff after he'd tied the scarf?

    I thought it was just when he was taking the corner.. The inbred * couldn't handle him giving a bit of 'banter' back by gesturing 5-1..

    Would love the wee man to start and score a few and rub it in like * after every one of them..

    Was it really a 5-1 gesture or was Griffiths reminding them we have won 6 titles in a row?

    On second thoughts maybe it was both :rofl:

    Thankfully the person who threw it on the pitch was not even aiming at griff or he could have ended up badly hurt...they knew griff would see it and pick it up and the ref played right into their hands....useless * of a man and im sure celtic will have the yellow over turned.
