Toulouse are in a relegation dog fight and Elmander surely will not turn down a opportunity of a european campaign. we all saw what Pavlyuchenk can do. Gourcuff has stated he wants more first team action and will review his future in the summer. Källström is on offer for around £5million, which we can afford if the purse is relieved. same goes for Mensah. isaksson doesn't get a game at man city, and Lloris is an exceptional young goalie with a year left on his contract, Nice will want to cash in.

Would sign stephan appiah, damian duff, mark viduka, tim cahill and van buyten. Possibly also stephen pienaar and wouldnt mind a player in the cordoza mould but probably wishful thinking on my part probably sign a player from hibs, hearts, aberdeen and a free to replace boruc.

Also few good players available on bosmans.

 

we could possibly sign gourcuff on loan if he wants first team football but Milan consider him a good player for the future and would probably want 15m+ for him

what i think is needed for next season

1st of all i have nothing much against wgs apart from some really dodgy signings(pressley,virgo,caldwell etc..) if he can beat the huns twice and at least take the league to the wire then id just about say let him have another crack at it next season. but we need to stop signing squad players who just take up a wage and dont get in or improve the team. need another clear out m brown,balde,caldwell,doumbe,pressley,virgo, gravesen,donati,riordan,killen,and even some of the reserves like quinn,obrien,mcgovern who lets face it its just not going to happen for them. ​

get rid of the dead would and spend some money 5,6 maybe even 7 needed i would go for jaaskelinann, pique, kadlec,(appiah should have pushed the boat out for him a year ago instead of donati) maloney,samaras. maybe another keeper if boruc goes ​

also a change of formation could be good and might better suit some of our current players? id go for a 433 this is my team see what use think?​

Would like to replace more squad players but being realistic most will still be around next season. Bringing real quality is a must. Especialy strong diciplined defensive minded players. It is impossible to say exactly who should be bought for obvious reasons. However whoever is brought in needs to be better then what we currently have and be good enough to go straight in to the first team.

 

I'd vote for that formation, looks good. But Appiah is high in demands and injury prone...maybe Zyryanov if Appiah doesn't want to come.

 

Rothen...would be able to replace Nakamura-I'm sure hoopymo would welcome him.

 

Thought that Pavlyuchenko was a cracking player. Anytime I've seen him this season more often than not I've been impressed.
