I think you're mixing up The Birdman of Alcatraz (..who never escaped..) with Escape from Alcatraz.

    ..how's that for being pedantict?

Sorry pal but I don't buy into that theory.

The fact we walked away from Mordor with 0 points lies in one simple fact...they scored 1 goal, we scored none and we've now gone 360 mins of football without scoring even once against them. They are far better organised than we are, far more efficient and far hungrier. They're ugly as * to watch but they want to win and know how to score...we don't! We can't finish teams off and the more games go on, the less likely we look like scoring. We need inspiration both on and off the park.

if the orcs lose their game in hand then it is game on once more :86:
take our chances at home against them win both worst case senario we could possibly win the league on goal difference (how * sweet would that be) :50::50:
of course we still need to win every game during the run in :celt_2:
not impossible cause we are the glasgow celtic
    mon the hoops :celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

To anyone who genuinely believe's we've still got a fighting chance here please don't build your hopes up as they'll come crashing down like a cheap deckchair.

Last 4 rangers games; Rangers Goals For 7 Against 0 Points Won 12
Celtic Goals For 0 Against 7 Points Won 0

To turn that into 2 wins on the trot against them is a mountainous task never mind the fact it guarantee's nothing in the grand scheme of things.

win all our games and I think we have a very good chance Rangers will drop the required points. If they dont that will have been an unbelievable 100% run-would be what? 25? SPL wins in a row. If they do that I will be amazed and will just have to say the best team won but I doubt it with their games mainly away and the big build up. I am sure we can win both home OF games. I think a lot is still in our hands but the team will have to find some extra belief. Never say die. hail hail

Someone said we have one hope: Bing Crosby (which I think is a grade below Bob).

Would you bet your house on us not beating them twice at Celtic Park?? I wouldn't and another 5 away game on top of that. The League's still on.

    Come on!!!!!

Positivism is needed now. We can still get this, yes, we can. Let's give The Orcs a double payback!

It's a close call imo...Just as long as the players don't regard the league campaign as being already over, we can still win. Anyway, aren't the Huns gonna get a Fixture nightmare in May? Rumour has it that they could play four matches in eight day (I frigging hope so):50:

Good to see some of you keeping the faith, if i'm honest i would have given up hope after the OF game if we had put in a performance similar to the drivel we showed in previous games, but we didn't. The only thing that needed proven to me was that we still have belief and can still motivate ourselves for the run in, now that it has been proved i have no doubt we can still do it.

Remember MON's last season in charge? After the final OF game, 5 points ahead with 5 to play, and we had Craig Bellamy in our team. Look what happened to that. Even the most pessimistic of * can't deny there's still a chance.

4 other teams? I think you have your maths a little wrong there mate.

If (and I'm aware its a big if) we win all our remaining games I think we will win the league no question. I might be wrong so correct me if I am, but don't the Huns still have to go to Tannadice, Easter Road, Fir Park and Pittodrie if Aberdeen make the top 6.

Factor in fatigue from the UEFA cup games, the physcological blow and nerves they would get by losing twice in a row at Parkhead and the difficutly of these away games and I gaurantee the Huns will drop points more than once. Remember all we need from other teams is one victory or two draws vs Rangers - hardly unlikely I think.

I'm not saying that we are favourites or that it will be easy but I still think if we win all our games including the two vs Rangers then we will win the league. Simple as that (ha)

I think we are all expecting to beat Rangers twice in the remaining two old firms. I wouldn't be so certain. They have beaten us at home in every game since Smith took over. We can do it but I think we still need to not be expextiong it as we may get a shock.

I'm normally the eternal optimist and yes there is still a 'chance' whilst the maths add up but if we win the league it'll be aided by either a rangers collapse or a magnificent performance by someone other than our own team coupled with a consistency of big performance in our own team that hasn't been there all season. I genuinely can't see it.

Were 3 of these not at Ibrox? Looks like you pessimists are already accepting second place - not something we want the fans to instill on the players.

I actually said - I'm not saying it will be easy.

We have only played them once at home since Smith came back and we were basicaly already Champions.
