Murray toiling. Djokovic searching. Federer not playing.

It certainly is set up well for Rafa heading into the French Open. Perhaps he does have another Grand Slam in him after all.

I just don't think he has that relentless mentality to steamroll the best opponents, like his adversaries have done previously.

There are a number of issues affecting Andy recently but they all can be resolved. He has a sore wrist, common complaint amongst tennis players.
He has just turned thirty, and is maybe feeling his age.He has only a part time coach in Ivan Lendl. He has taken to wearing fucken clod hoppers on the clay courts :giggle1:. Why he dozen't wear lightweight converses or something beats me.

The women's #1 seed out in the first round for the first time ever at Roland Garros. My wee Simona is favourite to win it this year but really any one of about 10-12 players could win it. It's wide open, which is good for the game I think.

Rafa and Novak safely through their first round matches, Murray to play tomorrow. Hard to see past Rafa at this point but if he doesn't win it then maybe we'll see a first time Grand Slam winner. Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev are the two up and comers but Thiem has a brutal draw.

Tsonga gets a bit of a reprieve, on the verge of going out at the hands of the unseeded Olivo.

Parsley Phillips beat Federer in their latest challenge match the other day 6-4 6-1 1-6 5-7 6-3,what a match!! Federer said "It is a good job Parsley does not play on the main tour,my head to head against this wonder player is 6-17".
Parsley has also an equally impressive head to head v Nadal 18-7 said "That is the best me and Rodger have played against each other,i cannot play any better and somehow i won"

Watching Nadal at Roland Garros is incredible. When he is at his best on clay, there is no challenge more difficult in tennis than to beat him.
