I used to despise it but now I don't really care.

If they want to beat the crowd they are free, none of my business.

One thing does irritate me though.

People standing watching the game for a while in vomitary or staircase before finally leaving. If your leaving then * leave.

Some people leave before kick off, especially in early rounds of the cup games!

"Beat the traffic" is the main excuse.

If the moustachioed Dayglo Gestapo on the police bikes just left the * traffic lights on at the end we would all get a shot to move, but no, those twisted Sevconian * switch off the lights and decide to cause utter carnage. To think we pay for that *. That's why people like to beat the traffic. Jams caused by the very people who are there to supposedly help us.

Even with that excuse, you do not leave the cinema early or before your dessert is served in a restaurant, do you? A game lasts 90 minutes plus stoppage (100 if you are Sevco), you are there to watch the game, all of it!

Otherwise what is the point. I can understand those with disabilities and the older and infirm having to perhaps do so but not 20,000.

Next point - the * off to the pie stalls at 38 minutes on the clock brigade. * is that all about? The food is * anyway. Eat before the game or get a * season ticket for Greggs or McDonalds ya bunch of tubes. Up and down the stairs like wee boys who are bored. Match day experience my *.

I don't know why many of these cnuts bother with the game at all. They should fill their cars with food, drive to Dalmarnock, park somewhere then walk to the stadium and then run back to their cars as fast as they can, stuff their * coupons full of semi cooked overpriced * food and then drive home, the *!

"I thought you were going to the game darling?" Says his surprised wife as he waddles through the door covered in crumbs at 3.45pm

"Aye a wiz doll, just wanted the beat the traffic" said the stupid fud

Just don't get leaving early, you're only getting to see the team once sometimes twice a week for an hour and you want to miss some of it, DON'T, though blackfish I used to go b4 half time for a bovril in winter

    Here's another question.

Are there many other clubs in which this happens across the other leagues? I admittedly don't watch all that much other football as I'm usually watching us, but when I'm watching highlights of other games and stuff the place seems to be generally full on the full time whistle. Probably happens in England, but that league is sterile as * anyway.

Perhaps it is the "meaningless game" factor.

Probably happens in Spain I'd imagine, where you could be forgiven for thinking that no support even showed up based on how little atmosphere they generate. At least for Real and Barca.

I find it pretty * to be honest, especially during a season such as this one. I got it the past couple of years but the players deserve every bit of support and appreciation after games just now. Do the supporters buses that park around the ground rather than in it all leave early? I see a lot of people saying they have to get on their bus but usually I just see them queuing up to leave after I've gone and I very rarely leave early.

I was really disappointed with the general turnout saturday as well, 3pm saturday, beautiful day, following two weeks of hammering Rangers, genuinely thought it would be near a sell out.

There was a bbc report on fans in the german league and many stay behind long after the game never mind to full time. But they have a much closer connection with the players - in many cases players will chat to the fans, even go into the crowd for a sing song after big games.

Im sure this isnt the case every week but there does seem to be a much stronger tie between player and fan.

I think in celtics case it comes down to competition. If there were only 3 points difference in the title race and celtic are drawing 1 1 with st johnstone, I cant see many people leaving at 80 minutes. But if celtic are 30 points ahead, the league has been won since xmas, and its 4 1 in the game, shaving 45 minutes off your journey looks way more appealing.

They should roll out a huge bar onto the park 10 mins after the final whistle and have a few players come out and meet the fans

To be fair, I'm one that sometimes leaves early but only because my old bhoy needs to get to pineapple. I don't see why others really care.

This group stage got it right up the early leavers. Griff against Rosenborg and last night.
Would have been the same against leipzig if the team took another 15 seconds to score.

Brilliant. Wish theyd learn their lesson atleast on the Euro nights now.

Have never left a game early ever! dont see why people do it because the last 10mins can be the most important. Think about all the very important late goals or last min ones. why the * would you want to miss them all to miss the traffic or get a pint before the pub fills up. Its what you o to the games for.

Used to moan like * about people leaving early, but then quickly realised I've got no right to frown on somecunt who wants to dl as they will please.

    I * off after that * * Gordon sold the game on Thursday. Couldn"t give a *.

You weren't the only one, Pads, loads left at that point.

I starting leaving just as the news came through about Rosenborg, missed the penalty.

I leave depending on where I am sitting and how I'm travelling, if I'm sitting in my normal seat in 137, I wait until the end, if I'm in 140( which is usually on European nights) I leave about 5 mins early to head round to the press entrance to get my walker if I've came up by train.

We were missing sitters and winning penalties in that last 10 minutes, * trying to refresh their phones, pyro going off at 2-0 down, It was class. The result didn’t matter, that team qualified and knocked Liepzig out of Europe, they deserved the support.
