    Fair enough but I consider Celtic Legends to be players like Billy McNeil, Henrik, Jimmy Johnstone, Paul McStay, Jimmy McGrory etc....the very elite of all the players that have played for Celtic. Im not sure if Brown quite makes it into that category, but hes a great player for sure.

    I understand what you mean but disagree... The service he gave up until then has always been brilliant. People wanting rid after being * for half a season under they circumstances were being unreasonable and looking for any excuse to jump on him.

    May not be in the same category as them but it's a different game now and in this day and age he's achieved a lot more than what most professionals ever will. He proves it's not always about money.

    Agree with this, it was bizarre from people who had watched him play for us for so long and rarely ever let us down.

    I think we have a lot of fickle fans to be honest.

    Yeh that's fair enough :50:

    Last season was difficult. I think a lot of players took some unfair critiscism and were in reality, trying their best in some pretty difficult circumstances. Broony's willingness to play through the pain barrier for the benefit of the team saw him being on the receiving end of some unfair criticism.

    Led us to 6 in a row, leading us through a possible unbeaten season, been here long enough to get a testimonial, and possibly leading us to only our 4th treble. Brown is a legendary Celtic captain.

    Not sure what else SB has to do to convince certain fans of his importance and status at this club.

    Titles, cups and appearances. All show a wonderful longevity of service.

    First class today, and legend for me all day long.

    He'll be one of our most successful managers by then. It feels like fate that one day there will be a \o/ statue outside Parkhead.
