OK. So how much will you pay me if I take them all as floor rags set?

 

Wee Gordon Strachan will sort you out with a few pound i would say and you could make a nice big pot of soup with Bobo Balde's head! The artmedia guys used them as floor rags last night!

 

Agreed m8 that they were used last night for the first time but you don't throw "almost" brand new floor rags to trash, 'ait?

 

Be lucky to get a bottle of Magners for them fuds!

 

Hang on folks - I agree Bobo had a shocker, but he's put in more last-ditch tackles than I can remember - O'Neil knew that Bobo's strength was always in attacking the ball and putting himself between ball and goal. When we've had an organiser, like Mjallby or Jackie Mac, Bobo's done the job. The problem was that he was playing with three others who had no organisation either and Strachan needs to realise this quickly. I'd be happy to stick with Bobo and Agathe in defence but fresh legs are needed for the other two slots. Laursen did the job when he was given the chance and Valgaeren was fine at centre back rather than MON's strange decision to play him at full back from time to time, so quite why we're relying on Varga, Telfer and Camara (does he understand the word 'marking'?) is a mystery. We had two players who could have prevented last night's defensive calamity (if not necessarily presented a long term solution) and we were ripped off on our trade in.
Come on Strachan, sort it out ay the back. O'Neil's team didn't start out pretty but blossomed nicely, so it's obviously not an unsuccesful approach to take. Let's see some attacking football, but not at the expense of actually winning anything.

 

oh no a bobo balde appologist...celtic the only club that doesnt invest on success ....the only club with a rank rotten defence that actually adds rank rotten players to it. balde and varga (the dangerous brothers) shouldnt be allowed to disgrace the celtic jersey again ...

 

I still don't think Balde's as bad as Varga, but they are both * ups waiting to happen.

 

I have a scary statistic. Our back 5 players on Wednesday, ie goalie and back 4 cost........£200K! No wonder our defence is hopeless. Things will be different when Agathe and Virgo are fit. KEEP THE FAITH!

 

Even if you combined them you still wouldnt have a decent player. Varga can pass a ball (and thats about it), Balde can put in a tackle sure, but im afraid they dont have a half a brain between them.

 

i think if celtic bought a couple of railway sleepers stuck them in the defence ...they would do better than balde and varga...the dangerous brothers strike again.
