We know one thing- we couldn`t do enything to change yesterday score.
We also know that probably Celtic will stop at this CL round...

I realized that supporters have always strong influence on coach and all team.
Maybe you think in other way, but in my opinion, knowing that we could make Strachan out we should do... nothing in this direct.

I`m from country where it`s normal to change coach or menager after one big loose and I know(like many of Polish fans) that it`s sick situation.
e.g.we had 17 National Team coaches since 1990 and we are in the same place as 15 years ago...
Also any of our clubs get to Champions League since 1995 (10fuckin years!!!!
Anyway for me it`s more than sure that we schould(but i know that it wouldn`t be simply) give Gordon some time to make a team from this players
[couse yesterday it wasn`t foult of Marshall or Hartson althought I prefer Boruc and Zuraw]
IT WASN`T TEAM and everyone saw this helplessness, long passes from to strikers and completely unorganized defence...
without any idea how to play vs.team with 6 defenders and fast counterattack play.

I know that almoust all of you want to "change, sell and kill" etc.(so do I in some way)
But we needn`t new players (Marshall and Boruc are good keepers, Lennon, Macgeady,Petrov,Zuraw,Aladiere,Maloney... even this fat sucker Hartson
-don`t forget how to play during this 3weeks break!!!!
[there was only 3new players in yesterday game])
They must only reorginezed themselves and it`s sad that before it we take this * defeat yesterday.
But when we change Gordon to someone new it could happen again...
I`m sure that now Celtic needs us more than ever and we must support them stronger and with more lenience!

greetings for all who know that as long as we stay with Celtic,
    HE WILL BE MIGHTY!

    HAIL HAIL!

Darlo hoop the bhoys were crap, the defense fell apart in the second half and that has been coming. Sutton taken off after about 18 mins with a fractured cheak bone and will be out for a few weeks. Zurawski was poor, not playing close enough to BJH who himself was poor. Petrov never in the game, Lennon never in the game, Camara was attrocious and was directly responsible for at least two of the goals.

In 32 years this is the worst Celtic performance I have seen

I can't believe that there are so many quiters here - no offence, but when I was watching a 3-0 trashing of Liverpool in CL Final's first half I was really gutted, at that moment I thought that all is lost and lost in a little embarassing manner. But then during the break, when some Milan supporters were singing at the other table I said to my friend, as gutted as me, sitting next to me... that we will win this game. He just looked at me like a father looks at a son, who has said something incredibly stupid.

And they did it, not because Milan was poor, not because it was a matter of life and death for every one in the team, it was just the faith. The faith in success and the faith of some stupid guys sipping a beer, with their faces sad but feeling that it's not over. None of them said "we're out".

Celtic is no Liverpool - true.
But on the other hand it's not Milan - it's Artmedia.
    It's not 45 minutes, it's 90.
    It's not Istanbul, it's Paradise.

    finishing word for you, mates:
Remember what YNWA stands for, be proud of being a Celt and never, ever... don't give up.

dilutism im in agreeance with you over the fact that we get one terribe result and were looking at scapegoats, look at the team!

when zurawski got the ball he looked good but he very rarely had the ball, no through balls etc.

we havent gelled yet, it does take time and probably will take a while longer. it does look like doom and gloom at the moment, but without being an eternal optimist, i think things will improve drastically. thompson had no place there last night. mcgeady * me off somethin shocking and camara was just dreadful. he and telfer played like wing-backs so i think GS is gonna have to seriously consider a 3-5-2 give some support to those clowns who i need not to mention. those two played well as part of a 3-man centreback formation so it seems only right that it just be reverted back to that.

that game had all the remnants of MONs last season, we didnt play nice football at all. we were in control in the first 20mins but looked complacent and didnt treat artmedia with the respect they should have done and when they scored we didnt know what to do. GS made a couple of mistakes, bringing on mcgeady for sutton, imo aliadiere or maloney could have played behind the front two. then when thompson went off he threw caution to the wind putting on aliadiere, instead of replacing him with mcgeady or wallace and thus maintaining any shape that the team had.

but this is not a blame game, the players will be smarting at that performance and result last night and will want to prove themselvesboth to GS and the fans against well. we know what we have to do next tuesday, go gung-ho-simple as that. looking at it philosophically-artmedia scored 5 without reply against "superior" oppostion, so it is possible we can do the same against "inferior" opposition. a lot of sorting out will need to be done in the meantime.

good to have you back darlo mate.

Well said mate, but I dont want to be a perpetual optimist. The wee ginger * better get organised pronto,or make way with someone with a pair of balls to clear out all the * at the back. There was more holes in that defence last night than a Bangkok brothel.

as to the tactical view, yes - we need to have as few defenders on the pitch as possible, 3-5-2 sounds nice, but I have no idea if Strachan worked with this formation enough before.

as to the team attitude, we should be playing fast attacks, pace is the way.
Drop Hartson, maybe he was good enough last season, but for now, all I hear and see is that he was "just a little bit too slow" or "he was just a fraction of the second late" - all the time. He doesn't even look like a sportsman anymore.

Maloney has to get a first team run, he's got the pace, he's got the faith. all he needs is confidence.

As to Magic, I realize that I may not be objective, as he's my compatriot, but on the other hand I know him well enough to state that yes - he can play midfield, he can play as an attacking midfielder, but his potential drops to 5/10 then. He must be played as a striker, nowhere else - and he will deliver then, just give him a chance, and don't shuffle him permanently - bench/first team/bench/first team and so on. Nevermind the fact that he barely saw the ball yesterday, so guys, pass him the ball ffs.

My team for coming weeks and the Artmedia revenge would be without Hartson, definately witouth Balde and Camara. Zurawski with Aliadeiere (as long as Sutton is out) upfront, Maloney behind them. Then Lennon, Petrov, Nakamura, McGeady. Defence is a big problem - not much of a choice - I would go with Telfer, Varga and Agathe. Goal - whoever gets the spot will be ok, unless he's being shuffled all the time - that doesn't give confidence to a goalie.

    6-0. Believe it.

I hate to remind you, but MON was gonna buy Camara as well - he recommended him! MON was brilliant overall but he left the team in a bit of a mess. At least Strachan is saying he might need an overhall. Can u imagine MON saying that, no "The boys did well tonight"

6-0. Believe it.C'mon the Hoops! I was pretty worried before the game last night, as what I had seen in the pre-season friendlies hadn't filled me with confidence, so I can't say it was a complete shock. However, I didn't really believe it could be that bad. I was absolutely horrified by what I saw last night, and had to delve into the drink for some numbing relief, but with a new day comes some perspective. I believe that anything is possible. We need to get right behind the bhoys now, and try and generate some fighting spirit. Show the new bhoys what it's about to play for Celtic.
Hopefully in the meantime GS will get his finger out of his *, and sort out the shambles which is called our defence, and put some sort of rocket up the arses of Lennon and Petrov - we will need them to play an awful lot better that they did last night. It's a mighty tall order, and we'd need to get off to a flyer, but we CAN still do this.
