Can't see Bremen getting anything from Bayern, they're having a woeful season.

Aye Fawlty look a bit bereft of ideas. 2-0 there you go. Stunning free kick.

Alaba dead ball free kick. Aye Bremen turned a very promising attack of seven players in Bayerns last third, into a pass back to their own keeper. HT.

Yer man at Hoffenheim (Nagelsmann??) doing a good job. Relegation fodder for the last season or two, now top 4.

Funny enough my daughters boyfriend was saying about him 10 mins ago. Only 28, finished after career finishing injury. That's a tough gig, especially with experienced players in their 30s. Still, fair play to the lad.

Finished 1-2 Munich. Better 2nd half. First was flat.

They've actually got a really young squad, only one 30 y/o player, everyone else in their 20's.

    Full-time scores:

    Werder 1-2 Bayern
    Wolfsburg 1-2 Augsburg
    Darmstadt 1-6 Koln
    RasenBall 2-1 Hoffenheim
    Ingolstadt 3-1 HSV

Never realised just how far ahead of the pack Bayern and Leipzig are. Stinking from Dortmund really.

Suprising how well Leipzig are doing, I thought Hoffenheim would beat them today, have seen Leipzig 3 times this season and they have never looked that good, Hoffenheim were in good form too and took the lead good going from Leipzig to come back and win although Hoffenheim went down to 10 men.

    They play Dortmund next week.

Mate Dortmund has been downsizing for about 5 years. The reason Klopp walked was because they kept selling Dortmunds best to Bayern or United etc. They expect to achieve success on a restrained budgets. They should be doing much more.

Thought that after the signings they made in the summer that they'd be much better than they are. In saying that, Dembele, Pulisic and Emre Mor are all very young. Next season might be more like it.

Couldn't disagree more on what you're stating here.
Dortmund has actually been building their financial status for some time and was able to pay a guy like Reus up to €10M a season to keep him.

They actually had next to nothing when he started at Dortmund, given that they screwed up their financial situation in 2002 and had to work with a pretty limited budget up until maybe four years ago or so.

Klopp actually walked because he had a terrible season(they finished 7th but were actually at a relegation spot with about 15 games to go) and just realized that his style was worn out, while the team needed a new voice in the lockerroom.

BTW: We finally won a game away from home today.
We beat Leverkusen at their stadium 3-2, while coming back from being two goals down.

    1-0 Tah (31st minute)
    2-0 Chicharito (34th minute)
    2-1 Stindl (52nd minute)
    2-2 Stindl (58th minute)
    2-3 Raffael (71st minute)

That should help boost the confidence of the team.

I have read the situation wrong. I like to watch German football and always like Dortmund getting a result. But I was going by the amount of players being sold to Bayern Munich. And I had read reports at the time about Klopp not being one bit happy about losing his main players. Good to be put right. Cheers.:50:

Dortmund are building for the future. They can't match the finances of the larger clubs and after the squad turnover in the summer an underwhelming season was hardly surprising.

Good old battle here. Both cross bars rattled in last 5 mins. Some cross from Muller to tee up Lewandowski who curved and struck the bar. Getting meaty tackles as well.
