I do think we have to get used to the fact that Rodgers wants quality in, so that means probably competition across the squad. A lot needs shifted and a Nagbe or Armstrong competing say with each other, isn't a bad thing..

We've seen how strong our bench has been lately with the rotation. Ideally I think Bredan will want to replace your McGregor's etc and have a strong first and bench..

It's competition for rogic behind the front man he's not a box to box type player and it's a position we are weak we can't depend on McGregor, Christie to score goals and that's what's needed another goal threat running beyond the striker, I too would like to see a more defensive midfielder coming in at this window

Club hoping to get him access to winter camp.

BR wanted at least one of the signings to attend winter camp, as per previous postings - club has 2 minimum but ideally 3 new players on thier radar and BR would be very disappointed if only gets one come transfer market closing.

Player will add great strength to midfield and move is highly applauded by hierarchy as provides increased marketing/overseas marketing potential with this player arriving.

 

Great news I hear hes really highly rated and good marketing potential is a real bonus. Any word on what other positions BR is looking into? He seems to be a man who knows exactly what he wants anyways.

 

Hope you're right. If this guy is as good as we'd like him to be, our midfield will be looking much better.

McGregor does a decent job but the sooner him and Henderson are out of the picture, the better.

So transfer rumors may be premature.

 

All he said is the flight isn't booked yet. The deal just needs finalised. It's pretty much done.

glad to see brendans looking to get players settled into the sqaud for the qaulifiers.were adding to an already strong team.this looks nearly done by the sounds of things,and the boy seemed to have enjoyed the barca game.

im up for that cyle larin kid as well,think hes one for the future.we need a better third choice than ciftci and get someone bedded in for dembele leaving in a season or two.
