He just doesn't affect a match. He doesn't put himself about defensively, he doesn't do anything offensively.

He just waits for the ball into feet and he passes it 5 yards sideways.

We have seen some talent from him very occasionally but it's few and far between and he's a luxury we can't really afford!!! Maybe a squad player for domestic at the very best for him.....too many time he's missing in action and he's not one you would want in the trenches beside you!!!

Reminds me a bit of his compatriot Berkovic when we had him. Aye, they're great when you're 3 to the good and the sun's shining. The guy can't have many more chances!!

Some people also say "he has a worldie in him".

How many of them has he scored, 2? A broken clock is right twice a day. He offers next to nothing.

Ask yourself that again after the role he plays in goal 2 and 3 for us.

Or what about his role in the home game against Sevco in setting up Dembele for his second when he sent Senderos for a pie supper.

Someone else summed it up. If he was playing against us you wouldn't be one bit worried about him

Scored Worldies against Dundee, Kilmarnock and Hamilton. Been unlucky with a few other efforts. Got 3 European goals for us (Should have been four but for a disgraceful disallowed goal decision against Malmo away last season).

Also a threat at set pieces with his height. For a CDM he's a decent goal threat.

Not having a great season so far but also not having a poor one either. A middle of the road season so far but I've no doubts we'll see him back at his very best in due course.

Completely agree with this. Thought the substitution of Armstrong for Bitton really injected some energy into the midfield that I felt we seemed to have lost a little around midway through the second half.

Such a contrast to how Bitton performed in the first game in my opinion. Thought he played well against the orcs at Parkhead, and created a couple of chances with his range of passing. But today he was nonexistent and played the way he did in the 2-2 semi last season.

Disappointing from Nir, and think Armstrong could get his chance on Wednesday.

A threat from set peices? Dont think iv seen * head the ball once from a set piece. Guys lacking a spine, he slows the game down and doesn't tackle enough. Doesn't offer us anything in reality, get him to *. Scores worldys ffs we gonna keep him on the basis once every 30 games * pop one in top corner? Nah your alright.

3 long range goals then from * knows how many attempts. His shooting isn't really that good is it?

Threat at set pieces? According to Transfermarkt he's scored 3 headers since he's been here. Not much of a threat considering how many corners and free kicks we get.

Hopefully he won't have much of a chance to get back to his "very best". If we get a midfielder in January he'll be on the bench, at best.

He was a lot better today but still didn't look sharp enough. Armstrong was miles better.

Looks like he is more suited to the Spanish or Italian league.
I used to say the same on here about Donati :fear:
