Surely if there's a chance of getting Paddy Roberts we should try and get him now since we have plenty money?

Wow, I've never seen it broken down like this - what a huge difference this will make!

If you ever needed to explain why we need to be in this every year, this image does it perfectly! Really missed this the last two years.

So with gate receipts and extra food and bovrils we've hit £30m without kicking a ball. Now 5 wins and we're £36m with another big last 16 payout abd gate receipts. Mental

Looking forward to seeing the annual results come the end of the season.

The champions cup was also a good earner for us.

Also if we average 55k attendance this season,up 13k from last season that's an extra 5/6 mil.

I know it's not quite as simple as we all think, but if alls true that we're negative on transfer and wage costs now, and Rodgers was supposed to be offered around £15m i can't help but think what we'd have if he spent about £2-3m on a RB, £5m on a CM and about £7m on a striker. If we do ditch 1 or 2 more of the squad it'd only ve about £13m spent, and relatively wage neutral, but it'd put us on a different plane of progress...

Can't expect us to spend the money we earn so we are forced into looking for 'roll-the-dice players/projects'

If we can add two that are better than what we have then we'll be in an excellent place. RB & DM, please.

We've pretty much done what the fans wanted, got rid of a good bit of dead wood either out on loan or sold, added quality at the back and up top, looking like we might be signing a right back very shortly and people still moan :56: If we get Gamboa and a centre midfielder this will have been an incredible window.

Tbf the club has running costs and a v high wage bill, the last set of accounts without selling a big name showed a £5m loss.

All of the fans creaming themselves over the 30m clearly don't understand how a business the size of Celtic needs to be run.

... and, no matter how many times you spell it out for some of them, they never will understand. They just hear £30 million and want it all spent on players!

To be honest, some folks don't seem to want to try and understand - seems to me that they're only happy when they have something to moan about! It's a uniquely Scottish thing!

We have not spent a penny this season though, we have made money this window.

Got loads of the wage bill by getting rid of deadwood. We have more season ticket sales, more tops being sold and 30 million from the champions league.

Remember Lawwell said we have a set budget every season without champions league football. We could easily spend 10 million of that money.

We have been ran poor for a number of years by our board mis-managing us going for the cheap option and should be light years ahead. This is our chance to do this and should have been done when they died.

We need to add and get that extra bit of quality in and this could be out best window in * knows how long. If the board get this right we could win 10 in a row easy and get into the champions league each year as well because we have the champions route.
