After that tonight what would you do about the 2 full back positions?

For me and probably 95% of celtic fans janko should never play again.
Lustig doesnt look to have the legs for it.

Personally id play izzy and tierney and whichever one of them is more suited to it can play on the right.

Or ralston could be given a chance.

Or try get a new CL quality right back in before the window shuts.

Thoughts?

 

Lustig is alright.

I'd shoot that * Janko though, through the heed!

Janko cant play football.He can run ,but that's just about it.New right back is much needed and hopefully that issue will be addressed until the end of this transfer window.

 

I love lustig but he cant last a full 90 anymore playing full back and looked sluggish at times tonight

 

We definitely need to sign a new one. Need a centre mid and a right back before the window closes.

 

Janko is so bad Calum Paterson would be an improvement

 

New RB needed. Lustig has experience and does his job but dont think he suits Rodgers style. We basically need a right sided Tierney.

 

Play Lustig at RB full time and when he needs rest blood Ralston

 

Give Ralston a shot

 

Lustig is absolutely fine. Has been playing well for a while now.

His injury record worries me. Maybe use Ralston as much as possible in between Euro matches.

Lustig is fine for domestic games but in Europe we need better than Janko and more mobility than Mikael.

CL quality is maybe ambitious but no reason we couldn't sign someone better than Janko to challenge. If not then he really needs to pull his finger out and get his head in the game. Shocking tonight (even though our midfield left us horrendously exposed)

 

Really wish we got wisdom now RB and cm we NEED. Think fisher was a lot better than janko purely because he wasn't a bombscarr

 

There's this guy called efe ambrose that has apparently played right back before for Nigeria don't know much about him but could he be our long term solution to the right back crisis?

 

Was quite shocked at just how bad Janko was last night. I know anyone can have a bad game but * *. He couldn't do anything right. Total disaster. It's not even like he's good going forward and a bad defender, at least then you could argue that modern full backs are like that and it's maybe worth putting up with his defensive frailty to get his attacking play. He's just * at everything. A good athlete but a terrible footballer. At the moment I don't ever want to see him play for Celtic again.

 

Its a hard position to fill in Europe for us. Agathe would have struggled in this side without the support he had

 

Man utd's current youth system is shocking

 

I'm sure we don't get the cream of the crop but that's two really bad players we've had off them now.

 

Hopefully we get the next Paul Pogba the next time around
