I think he should of had the first 3 another few times he should have been off his line a lot sooner,don't think there was a lot he could do about the rest and that ain't an excuse for him he was * poor for the first 3 and its game over at that point anyway.with the £millions banked already we are going with a guy who with a glance at his career should never be here

I think it's already time to have an opinion on him and for me he is not any better than Gordon

 

Theres must be a few sore knees on this thread. Hes played 3 games. Give him time. Trust Brendan he brought him here for a reason.

 

Bit early yet, but not a great start. Will trust BR with this one until midway through our Champs League campaign. If this form continues till then ---> reinstate Gordon and bring in a new keeper in January

 

Ok, I'm far from bowled over myself, and the stat of 9 goaks conceded from 3 games sets the tone of disaster.

BUT... 7 of those are from a single catastrophic game against arguably the best team in the world, and almost certainly the greatest strikeforce combo of this generation. With no time to bed in yet, and a new defensive alignment in front of him...

Far from sold on this transfer, at any stage, but gonna give him a little time before dumping him on the scrapheap

 

I hope he is not going to be Rodger's blind spot.

 

I hope he's given the chance to settle in, let's face it, he's not been any worse than Gordon just not looked any better so far.

 

I think he has the same weaknesses and not the same strengths from what Ive seen so far. I only meant I hope Rodgers doesn't stick by him because he brought him in that's all. As you say too early to get carried away.

 

Honestly it could be why people are jumping on him already, including myself.

I'm normally one to give EVERYBODY a chance, but since he's come in he's looked no better than Gordon at all.

I'm still of the opinion that the 7-0 flatters to deceive, there is no doubt at all that Barca played some mouth watering football but some of the goals where just schoolboy stuff from the keeper, next to no effort involved in saving them didn't really put his body on line (for lack of better term) like you would expect from say Forster or even Boruc which I believe with either of those two in goal we would of still lost the game but it would be 3 or 4 possibly as some of the goals Barca scored should have been routine saves despite who was on the end of the ball.

I'm still happy to give him a chance today, but I would want to see an improvement on the basics from him which I don't think he's been getting right since he's been here.
