Barca game up front

Just wanting to see how many of you would like to see Samaras start against Barca and who you would prefer him to be along side if we play with 2 up front, it would be Samaras and McDonald for me.

He's under pressure to perform and he's doing more than he has done work wise for months

strachan will start with hesselink , its a no brainer

samaras is a danger coming off the bench also , he's proving to be a handfull when he comes on ,what a shot he hit today off the post

 

id go with jvoh and skip both have been scoring,id be loyal to jvoh but if he not puttin it in id have samaras in there smartish even before halftime if need be

 

Got to stick with Skippy and JVOH, and Strachan will.

Its got to be Jan and Skippy both in form and bringing Samaras on later will provide a bit of variety towards the end of the game and possibly the chance for a late winner if it is level. Neither has done anything to deserve being dropped in the last three games so its got to be kept that way. Jan is a threat at set pieces which could be crucial in making scoring chances. You cant just throw that out because some people feel he doesnt contribute enough.

Jan and Skippy, if not my dream of Samaras coming off the bench and scoring a hat trick can't come true :icon_mrgreen:

 

Totally agree it is a partnership that has come good and bang on re Samaras coming off the bench. I will be surprised if he plays Samaras from the start at the expense of splitting up a working partnership.

Iwould try something different against them 1-1-9 . now dont jump down my throat i would have bruc in goal bring bobo back and the rest playing up front naebody would get bye bobo and boruc anyway and we might get a few goals into the bargain anybody disagree with this and why

 

I think this is a great Idea as long as we play fly goalies.
