Sign someone FFS

Absolute neglect if we don't bring in some quality sharpish . We've got Europe now. Season tickers up 7-8k time to make the effort. It's long overdue

 

It would have been a disaster to go out last night with a starting 11 with no new signings. Big bullet dodged!!

 

A kinda sell ffs too, Armstrong , Johansen, Ambrose, McGregor and Forrest are either poor or aren't consistent enough to be in our first team. We should be looking to move all of them on, obviously with a couple of replacements coming in.

 

The squad we have should, and has been, good enough to get us through the qualifiers so far. Its as simple as that. There's still time to make signings. Also, since the qualifiers last season where we were * we've added Jozo, Erik, Roberts, Ajer Kolo and Dembele, as well as discovering the amazing talent of Tierny who now has a full season under his belt. We're in a farbetter place than this time last year. Absolutely no need to panic, Brendan's influence is clear too see already aswell.

 

That's all well and good if a club ACTIVELY want to buy them, but there's not much talk of that at this stage.

Anyone who thinks Celtic aren't ACTIVELY attempting to get Rodgers' targets in right now are aff their heeds.

 

9 million in the bank after last night, 1.5 million for the play off round, and 7.5 million for the europa league group stages, would love them to spend all that on 2 quality players.

 

It's getting embarrassing now with the lack of investment.

Team that played last night was a poor Ronny Deila team and I'm not exaggerating here. I can't believe Rodgers would take this job without promise of funds so I'm puzzled as to what the * is going on.

I'll tell you one thing though, if we don't sign anyone before next round and we lose they can get tae * with asking me to buy tickets for Europa League games.

I think we need another 5-6 players but don't see it happening, Rodgers did say we need are working on another 4 before SS today. So if we can sign another 3 players who can walk right into the starting 11 I will be happy cause we really need more quality to qualify for the groups.

 

Hard man in central midfield and I'm pretty much happy, back up keeper would be a bonus

 

I think we need another 5-6 players. Spending at least £5m on each one. It's not like financial mismanagement has nearly bankrupted us within memory and has bankrupted our rivals as little as 4 years ago. Let's just pretend we are getting English TV money and then pray that someone bails us out at the last moment.

 

First choice keeper needed not backup.

Wish * would stop using them as an example as well. Embarrassing.

A goalkeeper and a defensive midfielder would do fine. Would mean relying on Forrest as backup for the wings though.

 

No one is getting past Kolo and Erik to get a shot in so not worried. :smiley-laughing002:
