Is it just me or is anyone else worried that we haven't scored a goal under strachan yet? I think it's worrying because of the concentration we have put into our attack this summer and it doesn't look any better than last seasons. Heres hoping that its just those two games and it doesn't continue, we need a few goals tomorrow night to settle my nerves. If we finish tomorrows game without scoring it's time to start asking questions I think.

service to the forwardline has been very poor, almost non-existent. It will all come together in time, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Lets not worry just yet, Gord has had just over a month with his new team, not even that time to sit down and think about tactics and players positions. Remember this is what friendlies are for, Trialists, chances and a chance for people to show what they can do.

It'll come together soon, MON the HOOPS!

I don't think scoring goals would be the problem, its just that we are finding it hard getting balls through to the strikers. Our midfield is totally out of sorts. Lennon and Sutton don't work well together we need to have a more attacking midfield. Petrov in the middle so he can make his runs up. Agathe or a new person on the right to make runs up the flanks and deliver balls. Lennon to hold the fort in the middle, and Naka on the left.
GS should take hartson off and replace him with sutton, he will be able to hold the ball up and slide in wee passes for the likes of Zuraw or Ali.

we need a few defenders in. If Christinvaul doesnt get a contract at Arsenal we shud buy him. Play him,Virgo and Sutton at the back

The goals will come I'd be more worried about the defence from what I've seen so far.

Still a new team, that is gelling. Don't worry, the goals will flow for Magic and co, probably just need the first one to go in, then the avalanche will start. Hopefully on Thursday night at CP, nice to see some new players score on their home debut!

can't say much about others, but that's exactly what was Maciek's case in his NT appearances. despite being league top-scorer he couldn't find the net in the international games and his frustration was growing. it took him somewhere about 10 or more games to finally score, but once it was done, he become a scoring maniac for Poland.

by the way, i think some of you are putting too much weight on friendlies. come on, it's a long way to go before the season starts!
