Griffiths is definitely the first choice striker when fit, but we now have Dembele too, who is a massive improvement on recent back up strikers at the club. It makes any injuries to Griffiths not as bad as before.

Dembele will only get better too.

Aye, 8 goals now. Top scorer at the club. Not too bad for a 20 year old back up.

Looked like he'd never seen a football a couple of times then scored an absolute beauty. Great knock down in first half too. Think he's got talent

Really want to see both of them play together and see how they go from the off and no just from the bench..

The good thing about them right now is, both of them can play as the lone striker and also as a pair. I'd love to see them in a run of games as a front two. I reckon they'd cause serious damage.

Great position to have 2 quality strikers at the club again.

He can look graceful & dynamic one minute then cumbersome & rash the next. Still very raw but definitely has something about him. Superb goal.

Would love a front 2 with Griffiths to be a common thing.

8 goals in about 5 weeks, he's got something special about him but is still a bit RAW

What a goal that was. He took a lot of frustration out on that finish. :smiley-laughing002:

Really enjoyed his goal tonight, made it all himself. Good sign that he can be having an off night and then bang! ...come up with something a bit special. Doesn't look like a striker that will depend on assists, which looks very promising.

Another thing with him is he continually gets into goalscoring positions.

Too many times in recent years we have brought in useless duds up top who look timid and scared to make runs, never being in the right place at the right time. He might go on to frustrate us a lot more but I can only see him scoring a barrel load for us, to be honest.

Loves to run at the defence. Can do it with swagger as well. Cheers Crow!

MD on @Leighgriff09: "Leigh is a clever player so for me to play alongside him would be a good thing.

MD: "We are different players, he has his strengths and I have mine. We have a friendly competition which is for the good of the team.

MD: "If I can score, I will score. If I can give the ball to Leigh for a goal, I will. Having him here is a good thing for me.

MD on @FCBarcelona: "It was hard to take but it's football, it happens sometimes. You have to take the positives and improve the negatives.

MD on penalties: "I will take the next one.

MD on #UCL tie against @ManCity: "First we concentrate on Kilmarnock. We take it game by game.
