Agreed. Could see that he was disappointed to be taken off.
His understanding in the team and the system will only improve. Cant actually believe comparisons to Amido are being made. :52:

People expecting a bit too much of him early on due to the hype of his signing. Wait til he gets a few goals to his name and his confidence is high.

Within about a year we'll have ironed out his technical deficiencies just like we did with Wanyama. He's got all the attributes to be a great striker for us.

Scored an og as well in a European qualifier and had more than a few scratching their heads.

Let's just say if TC was around then, there would have been some hilarious posts to look back on. :smiley-laughing002:

I thought he was good, just unlucky.

Clearly frustrated with himself which I like - it shows he has passion and desire to better himself and isn't lacking in confidence - yet. Remember Pukki, guy wasn't ever frustrated just looked 'meh' whenever he wasn't hitting the net, which was mainly all the time.

Good player, great movement. Goals will come. He's kind of been thrown in at the deep end aswell. Our season starts so early compared to most so he's barely had time to adjust and is expected to get stuck in an effectively hit the ground running.

RAW, many rough edges needing polished up.

    Best way to describe him.

Thought it was frustrating watching him get frustrated last night :smiley-laughing002:

Have to remember he's only 19 and arriving with alot of hype surrounding him, so he'll have that hanging over him every time he touches the ball.

He'll come good, no doubt about it.

Snatching at chances a bit - obviously want to do well. He doesn't go missing though. Always challenging, looking to link up. Can see he's got a bit of skill too - quite able to jink away in a tight space.

Hopefully once the rust comes off he'll sharpen up and start banging them in.

Exactly, plus he's only 20, been in the door 3 weeks and it's basically still pre-season.

We need to support this kid instead of talking him down and piling pressure on him.

He just needs to find some form. Still very early in the season and he's only played two competitive matches

He'll need time to settle in and to work out some chemistry with Griffiths

I think he'll get there eventually

It's basically still preseason even though we've started competitive games and * are starting to get nippy.

Like the look of him, would like to see him and Griffiths used as a pairing and work the formation around that with the 2 up front. Hes young and a bit raw but in a few months I think he could be fantastic.
