So our two games against the vermin will be moved to 11th September and 1st January respectively?

That's two potential minute silences, for anyone keeping count...

Unfortunately we won't know until nearer the time mate. Probably depends on whether we qualify for the Champions league and we won't know that until the end of August.

TWO of Celtic’s upcoming Saturday matches during the month of October will now have earlier kick-off times.
The games are the opening and closing matches of the month with the first being the trip to play Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday, October 1 and that game will now kick-off at 12.15pm.
Similarly, the match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Saturday, October 29 will now kick-off at 12noon.

Are they actually trying to force a situation here? They know that a Saturday is the busiest day for drinking, followed by a match between Celtic and an ibrox based club being the biggest drinking match day event, plus the annual biggest drinking day.

What is their thinking behind it? Surely the police want to put a stop to this as even their resources will be stretched that day already.

According to reports the Police had a big say on the final decision, seemingly they could have had a night time kick off on the 30th or an early kick off on the 1st...they chose hogmanay.
