These threads generally degenerate into conflict Between two sets of people. The first are the Islamaphobes who are suddenly evangelical supporters of gay rights. The second are the wet liberal terrorists apologists who blame it on America and gun violence. I'm sure there is a complicated middle somewhere.

Also targetting innocent muslims is the best way for isis to radicalise & recruit them. - they are not all to blame for individuals actions.

This really doesn't come as a big surprise. Often these kind of incidents are carried out by deeply troubled people who are, for one reason or another, angry at the world around them and project it onto others.

The fact he was known to the FBI and yet was still able to procure a firearm is pretty incredible.

I remember a whole chain of videos from a couple of years ago showing various Syrian rebel groups (inc ISIS) throwing gay people from the top of buildings in so called liberated towns. Media said * all, because the West was backing these groups, and I cant recall much condemnation coming from the LGBT community either.
