    Almaty is less than 200 miles from the Chinese border, and it's an 8 hour flight away. The second leg between Kairat and Artmedia is tomorrow night and Kairat have a 2 goal advantage. If they score they are as good as through, I'd have thought.

    The thought of going here is a real possibility, would anyone be prepared to travel there and support the Hoops?

    Depends on how cheap I could get the flights for and if my mates would be up for it or not. France or Spain it's all the same, but Kazakhstan needs some thought :fear:

    well get a massive crowd celtic supporters are the best in the world if you look at it 10,000 were at the fulham match.Supposely artmedia is the team lubo plays 4 does anyone know anything

    would doubt that mate. no cheap flights to Kazakstan and i couldnt see too many forkin out for a game like that against Almatay regardless of its importance. Well have a couple of thousand maybe, but thatd be stretchin it.

    Been searching everywhere on the net for the latest from the game, no-one seems to have details. I've tried uefa.com, bbc football, soccernet, just about everyone.

    Yeah, I've found another site that said Artmedia won 4-1 after extra time.
