I think it'd be hard to accomodate both of them if we're not playing 2 up top. But with the right work ethic 2 up top can work in a defensive sense. Leicester and Atletico have shown that.

It's not a bad dilemma to have though, should we sign Fletcher.

That's all true, but what Leicester and Atletico have is defensive discipline and a good, experienced back line. We don't (yet). Hopefully can develop that though, then I'd be very open to say a 4-4-2 diamond.

Even at the minute, I'd take 2 up top if we had 3/5 at the back.

With Rodgers past formations, it's really anyones guess what kind of shape we'll see. He's played 433, 4231, 352, 442 diamond, and probably more :smiley-laughing002:

Would love us to sign Fletcher, I think he would give us a genuine target man who can play, similar to Chris Sutton, he obviously isn't as good but I think he would be a great foil for Griffiths. I'd take Graham on "reasonable" wages as he would be decent cover & Rodgers knows him & got the best out of him. Griffiths/Fletcher/Graham/Nesbitt/Aitchison would be a strong forward divison & allow the young boys playing time imo.

Aye. Heard a few rumours actually that his agent was at parkhead.

Also heard they were here in January trying to work out a deal, only for Fletcher to then say recently that he never had contact with us. Hard to tell with Twitter.

I don't put much stock in that Agent_Scotland anyway, but I hope this isn't true; Fletcher's just one of those players I really don't understand the hype around.

For someone who was getting paid a good wage down south, you would imagine that should he come here he would be looking to become one of our top earners.

He'd be OK back up but I'd rather. We went for someone a lot better.

Both are past their prime. I wouldn't get too caught up in this one. Brenda will have no problems finding a striker.

Griffiths and Fletcher together would be an excellent partnership. Both can also play in a 4-3-3 as the lone front man. Gives us options and 2 different types of player who should compliment each other well. I for one would be very happy with Fletcher.

I've never been a big fan but if we bring him in and someone young and prolific I'd be quite happy.

If I saw that partnership line up for Scotland I wouldn't really be that bothered. So seeing it for Celtic wouldn't get me excited either.

I'm praying that we don't touch either of them. Fletcher has passed it and Graham never had it.

Sign Fletcher or Graham and they'll have to put the gazebos back up at the ticket office for the queue of people wanting a refund

That's both these punters released along with Harper and Wes Brown.
