How dare you include Paul Cuddihy.

He fills my house with the joyous sound of high pitched shrieking every week.

Owen Coyle has left Houston Dynamo- we missed the boat there, if only we had held off for a week.

This seems like nonsense with regards to Brown. He is the one player Rodgers singled out for praise in his interview, if anything, he will be that vital sitting role mentioned.

Johansen is made for his formation. Hoping he can find form.

I dont think Brown suits Rodgers at all and the sooner he finds it out the better.

    Hoping he's sold.

Brown still has a part to play, for sure.

scott brown would struggle being in charge of a play station controller, never mind being the controller in our team, under rodgers at liverpool the 2 centre backs went wide and gerrard came in and the ball came out from there, i dont think brown is good enough on the ball for that role.

I still think he can regain form.

Clean slate for everyone as far as I'm concerned. As for Brown he will probably play a part injury free but once his legs start to go he is in trouble. Hoping recent form was down to injuries and his fitness isn't as bad as it seems.

Who says by being the deep midfielder he will be asked to play the way Gerrard did?

Gerrard played the deep role differently to Lucas or Joe Allen, or even Leon Britton at Swansea.

It all depends on how he wants the team to play.

What Rodgers wants may be impossible to implement with the team we have- this is why it's vital for him to be willing to adapt. I'd wait to see the transfers first, to get an idea of what he plans on playing.

I hate seeing Brown dropping deep to take the ball off our centre halfs. I can't imagine that happening next season though.

Have a look at the gerrard slip for an example.

I think brown will bit part play in all the central midfield roles. Actually think he's more made for the 2 more offensive positions that guide suggests.
Take issue with the idea that a sitting midfielder means you dont need ball playing centre backs, Rodgers loves defender who can start moves, its why he wanted to resign Williams for Liverpool

Johansen could play a huge part in his midfield if he regains his fitness and form of his POTY season he's the best passer of a ball we have

Johansen was brilliant for us when he got POTY, but I would disagree that he is best passer of a ball we have. Rogic and McGregor are both better I feel if we are talking about players who play in the same positions as Johansen, and Mulgrew is as well, if we are talking in general.
