I just thought I'd make a wee thread to say that big Evander comes in for a lot of undue stick. The guy makes mistakes sometimes, but nothing that's cost us games from what i remember. He always tries hard when he's on the pitch, and has a good ball control when he's confident. It's only natural if fans get on his back he'll lack confidence. He's a Celtic player, so has my support! Anyone, I hope he turns a corner as he could be one for the future.

    Mon the Sno man! Cheers.

    C'mon the hoops!

well if he cant stand being criticized he should go to a small team then. if you're playing gash then cheered for it then it'll be programmed into your brain that this is an ok standard to play

Why go back on what you said? I also think Sno is talented and does not deserve to be a hate figure. He can be a bit ponderous at times but he never ever hides and has much more skill than people give him credit for. One day he will shine in another league. The SPL is perhaps a bit frantic for him but he will play at a high level elsewhere.

    MILK WAS A BAD CHOICE..
Gotta say, he looked pretty good today (the fall aside! :icon_mrgreen:).

Granted, in some matches (Man Utd :54:) he has lost the plot.

But I must say, I can definately understand why Strachan wants to keep him and give him every chance to progress.

There is the potential for a very good player somewhere in there.

    Gwan the Snoman! :50:

    Hail, Hail!

Was it not evander snos mistake that led to kakas winner in extra time against milan ?

I think he could be good for celtic in the future, just hard for him getting a steady run in the team at the moment with the players at the club. His position could turn out to be the same as riordans though and think he will want to move on soon if still not getting a game !

When Sno first came into the team I thought ffs what a diddy then he got a run of games and it was obvious he had some talent very raw but looked a good prospect. He then got an injury and he has gone back to looking a diddy again as he is getting no game time to boost his confidence. He is also heavy set and a bit like BBJ he looks like he needs to play regular to improve his fitness.

I think we should have put him out on loan as he needs to play more regulary as he is going to get little oprtunity to develop with us at the moment.

think is he has had time to boost his confidence, hes had more time than the likes of deeks, killen, magic or jiri had.

i dont like it when any of our players get boo'd tho, yea its frustrating but when it happens the players head goes down and they play worse.
