Peter Lawell and Dermot Desmond just sitting at their Apple Macs watching the bank numbers trickling along expectantly, never quite realising their penny pinching ways have consigned us to Europa League also rans for the foreseeable future - thus negating any financial gain whatsoever.

Frustrating and disappointing. Promising too much, and delivering too little. As time went on, it was like a slow leaking balloon, until our team finally deflated against an orcs side that we should have torn apart. For all that Ronnie seems like a thoroughly decent person, he didn't understand what it meant to manage Celtic, and all his bombast and rhetoric about what we could expect from his team gradually turned much of the support against him when the promised improvement and energy failed to materialise. A bloated squad leads to dissatisfaction and cliques when so many players get no game time, and it becomes all too easy to forget that the club comes first. We need to offload a significant number of players, thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best for the future, and then build a team around players like Kieran Tierney and those who understand what it means to play for our great club.

Unfortunately he just didn't have the management skills to get that group of players to buy into his philosophy or style of play. He some how managed to ostracise some of his senior players. right or wrong I'm not saying they shouldn't share some of the blame, Commons/Brown/Mulgrew/Lustig/Gordon/ but ultimately the manager needs to have a staff that believes in what he is doing and his leadership needs to be first rate.

I think Ronnie dipped because he was an unknown,

IMO: If Keane had taken the job and was implementing the same stuff as Ronnie I believe he would have had more success solely due to that fact that he was a winner at the highest level which the players can relate that to a bit of iv'e been there done it got the medals and the fckng t-shirt kind of thing.

I wish Ronnie the best and I am sure if he gets a project with a young team that he could enhance through the his skills with plenty of time to develop them then he could be a seriously good manager and he has worked in the harshest environment so if nothing else he has grown thick skin being our manager.

I agree with all of this. How do you think John Collins fits into the picture? The body language between he and RD has become more and more that of those who can barely stand the sight of each other rather than a supportive managerial relationship. Do you think Collins contributed to the unrest?

I think it first it was all sweetness and light, but internal politics are a bstd, I think that when the senior players started to split or go off the boil and the results started to go awry. I think then a difference of opinions started to effect their relationship. i can only surmise but who's to say that collins wasn't behind the unrest with the senior players, Then there is protecting your own job is collins keeping his job or is he out as well you haven't heard a peep out of him is he going to be given the Job

How would that go down if Collins was unveiled as the New Manager.
