    Do you the celtic fans think that DD is good for the club ? And is he still dreaming about taking celtic into the EPL which he is still actively working on

    Better with him than without. He's helped us at times of need plus he's a genuine Celtic man with dosh


    Can you think of anyone who would replace him that would do a better job.

    naw i canny good shout he is the man to run celtic .But why does he persist in going for the EPL when down there they say that the old firm are not wanted does he know something that others dont?

    How exactly is he pursuing the Premiership?

    I'm sure he keeps himself up to date with any changes to the structure of football in Britain and Europe as a whole, but I doubt he's ringing round Premiership chairmen trying to hawk Celtic to their league.

    He has got other interests you know. And he's been very good for the club. By investing his own money and guaranteeing the financial stability of the club.

    I think he's been great for us, he's put his own £'s in!
    So what if he's hawking us around the epl, he'd be daft not to! Look at the tv money, epl £30m a season spl 2.5m!! The teams at the foot of the Championship will get more tv money than us!

    Dermot has got us up on our own two feet financially with the help of the other staff members in the boardroom. He has done a great job.

    If the fans want to have more of a say in running the club then we'd need to buy up more shares and form a group who have a representative in the boardroom pushing our decisions on club matters. I don't think thats needed though.

    Was at a do a couple of years ago.non-Celtic, and Desmond was speaking
    he said any of his assets were potentially for sale except for Celtic as his kids would murder him...He's an absolute gentleman

    no, the dream of EPL ended a few years ago. quinn was the last to still want it. he's now gone.

    the only reason we still hear of it is because of fans.

    at an agm a few years ago a fan asked about a move to the prem and peter lawwell said just that.
    no one at the club is trying to get celtic into the EPL, this topic would have died down by now if it wasn't for people outwith the board continuing to bring it up

    dermot desmond has his heart in celtic football club and his relationship with peter lawwell is excellent, his investment drives the club forward. of course he is the man for celtic, he bleeds this club and always has even as a young man. the last thing we want is some * russian or yank coming in and stealing our identity, risking the clubs future for their own profits. na ill take DD!
