    15mins. Mark De Vries turns Stan Varga using his strength and shoots inside the box. Boruc saves excellently again from 9 yards, this guy might just cut it if he gets a defence to help him out.Boruc rullz ;]

    * * maspingon calm down pal, I was at the game tonight and Boruc made some fantastic saves, and his first being a penalty. Shortly followed up by a few others and probably two more match savers throughout the game so I believe as Celtic fans we are allowed to give hail were hail is due so to speak. To be honest Zurawski didnt play very well but you can tell its there, very short glimpses of greatness but he just needs to find his feet as all players do when they are new to a squad

    Well now, he might turn out to be awful in which case you will see him again, however, on tonight's performance the bloke is going to be an absolute star. We need to sort out our midfield before we can see what Zurawski is like. He worked very hard tonight but got little service.

    I dont know but he did reasonably well in right back considering hes never played there before. Sutton disappointed me, looked sluggish and lacking fitness. Boruc was very impressive, a good penalty save and great positioning between the posts throughout the game. My one main worry is the fact that we continued to play a high-ball game even when aliadiere replaced hartson. both he and zuraw need ball to feet or something to run onto but that was lacking. Nevertheless it was a friendly, a new manager with many changes to the team so all in all we cant criticise them or expect anything significant yet. they need time to gel and these friendlies will only help them. good to see GS has the same enthusiasm as MON, you could hear him on the tv rantin and ravin. It will take time but it will come. only thing we can take from this and the fulham game is that our depleted defence hasnt conceded.

    Agree about sutton, needlessly gave the ball away a few times. None of the regular squad members gave 100%, makes you wonder if we're ready yet.

    were not, thats what the friendlies are for i would say. playing time will only allow the players to gel better. We'll hope for better on Thursday night. Sporting will be our toughest opposition so far, after two games we should see an improvement.
