4 MATCH BAN FOR STRACH

Strachan has been handed a 4 match ban for unacceptable cunduct against Aberdeen from the incident after Kenny Miller scored.

 

It's a ridiculous ban...can he appeal this too?

4 games for what? For telling a steward to mind his own effing business. He's the manager of one of the biggest football clubs in the world and he was standing up for one of his staff. 4 games? Even if you come out and say that the ref was a cheat then you don't get that long.

 

he was giving strachan very personal slagging basically then strachant basically told him to * off and the person reported this to a club steward and the steward started shouting at strachan then reported it. Roughly.

Strachan was sent to the stands by referee Charlie Richmond following the incident involving his former club. He was found guilty by the Scottish Football Association's disciplinary committee of an "unacceptable conduct" offence. Celtic coach Tommy Burns said at the time that Strachan had been defending his assistant Garry Pendrey following accusations he had made a rude gesture to the Aberdeen fans behind the dugout. Hearts coach Stephen Frail avoided a two-match ban after being found not guilty of a dissent charge. He was sent to the stands during his team's match at Kilmarnock on 27th October

What a joke giving Strachan 4 games for just standing up for his coach. I recall Burns basically saying at the time how ridiculous how Strachan and co have to stand there and get called every name under the sun right in their ears and as soon as they look crossways at someone then they get in trouble. Double standard. If Strachan is getting punished then so should the Aberdeen fan.

Celtic have appealed the 4 game ban.

the sfa gave the 4 games because they knew celtic would appeal, prob go down to 2 games. Still Shocking.

 

Surprise Surprise!!!!!! The SFA just never cease to amaze me, the * * steward gets away with inciting a riot (mind you it was nowhere near as bad as Artur Boruc blessing himself was it?) and GS gets a 4 game ban. If the SFA as an 'organization' didn't boil my blood as much as it does i would have to laugh. * incredible

 

I think the severity of the decision is based on the fact that Strachan has been up before them twice before. Well that's the rule for all other clubs, am starting to believe we've got a rule book all to ourselves.
