Well, I hope you're right. I'll believe it when I see it.

That doesn't surprise me. It will be the Rule Britannia brigade voting for the party that has taken the strongest 'Defend the Union' stance.

That's his first name, unless he cuts about saying his name backwards.

You could be onto something there :smiley-laughing002:

Keep the faith mate, macaskill took a lot to do with it and if you watched the live parliament meeting when they debated it the chairman wasn't impressed with him at all nor was the majority of the group, it will take some time but it will be amended :50:
Aye but surely they would have still voted labour, not tory :smiley-laughing002:

I believe wee ruthy is a tough wee * which she will need to be going there and I have just heard the tories have beaten labour for a 'proper' seat as well :smiley-laughing002:

Even if he told you, you'd be looking for a * with a backwards name according to you.

Aye I did watch that and MacAskill came across as a proper fud.

Not really, this is what I have been saying for the past few weeks. Labour have allowed themselves to be outmanoeuvred by the Tories in this campaign. The Tories have managed to get people to think of them as the party that will most strongly defend the Union. Disaffected, pro Union Labour voters are clearly switching their vote to the Tories on that basis.

Believe it or not there will not be many (SNP) disappointed that he has stepped down. It will be amended at the least.

Aye I know and yes it looks like you were right , I still find it hard to believe 'proper' labour supporters would ever vote tory. I actually hope the tories manage to beat labour, as it will help us in the future as well, its a win win for Independence.
