Can see the huns all talking about how when/if we win 10 that it will only really be five because that's how many years they've been there.

Doesn't bother me as such because we all know the truth, but you can guarantee they'll dress it up as much as they can. Not just them either, media, pundits - all sorts.

I think we're guaranteed to get to 6 in a row. After that all bets are off. I don't trust our board to do what it takes to ensure 10 happens.

Zombies will finish second next season, third at a minimum but just can't see that.

Despite that they'll be weak for some time but as of the end of next season they will be the 2nd strongest team in the country - that's just Scottish football - Hearts, Aberdeen etc will fall back to getting turned over by them.

They'll be weak still and I fancy us to do it but it's no way a cert obviously.

Ten will be no problem at all. * light years ahead of everyone including those zombie *. * are shopping in the bargain basement for free transfers on * wages. They'll be top 6 but that's about it.

When they turn out *, wait and see the backlash from the peepul.

This , give them a season or 2 of being pumped by Us/rest of the league and their ST sales will dive. For anyone of a certain age think back to pre moonbeams .. that was the orcs true level and the best they can achieve unless some daft * wants to pish 10's of millions down a hole year on year for * all return other than 'hero' worship from the orc horde. :smiley-laughing002:

14 matters because it would be a European record.

It would equal the European record.
The world record is currently 15 titles which is still ongoing.

The current regime i dont think we have a hope in *.
I honestly think this Warburton fella has a long term plan, which far succeeds ronnys.

It's delusional thinking to believe that Sevco will come up and then loiter around mid table for years like Rangers did in the early/mid 80's. It simply isn't going to happen. For four main reasons..............

    1. It wasn't David Murray's money that suddenly made Rangers successful. They already had more title wins than any other club in this country, those wins were achieved over many decades. Finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th was no more the historical norm for Rangers than what happened in the early/mid 90's was for us.

    2. Scottish Football is nothing like as strong as it was in the 1980's. There are no longer Aberdeen or Dundee Utd teams kicking about who were good enough to reach European finals. Aberdeen are the best of the rest but it won't be long before Sevco will be beating them regularly. Two seasons tops.

    3. There is a far more uneven split of football supporters in this country now than there was back then. More people follow Celtic or Sevco than was the case thirty years ago, meanwhile support for the provincial clubs has dwindled. That makes it so much easier for Sevco to overhaul the rest.

    4. Wages. The wages Sevco will be able to offer will be considerably larger than any team in Scotland, other than us, can offer. That gap wasn't nearly so big in the 1980's.

It's time folk just face the reality. Sooner rather than later, they will once again be our main opposition for the domestic title. The next team not named Celtic to win the Scottish top flight WILL be Sevco. The likes of Aberdeen and Hearts are not going to stand in their way for long. How soon that horrible day will come, I do not know, but mark my words - it will come.

Your whole post is based on 1 thing - money, yes they have a large fan base however rewind a wee bit mate -
Look at the state they found themselves in prior to murray arriving.
It certainly wasn't murrays money it was the banks. The dead club's 'fans' had a long history of not putting in money to their club, this was even true when they were successful (failed share issue under murray was it 2 or 3?). The new orcs are continuing that , they want someone else to fund it all. IF they are not instantly successful when they come up their 'fans' will be even less inclined to buy ST etc.
For proof of this , see prior to murray.
As has been said before they need someone who is willing to bankroll pretty much the whole thing as wee billy does not accept 2nd place, nor stumping up much money, and he will soon do 'walking away' if that happens.
