Well obviously Ibiza if your young. Expensive but always an experience.

Personally if you just want a lads holiday experience though id go to Maga, Zante or somewhere like that. Ibiza is just to brag but its extortionate and you do the same in Maga as you would in Ibiza.

Went to Alicante a few years back, great place for couples with plenty outside narrow street restaurants, beaches were good and plenty bars etc but a quieter feel to it.
We went to Benidorm for a day trip from Alicante (1hr) by coach, didnt like it at all, was a * hole, pavements and bars falling apart, but like miles said above the old town was decent.
Another place we enjoyed was Benalmadena, nice place to wander, there was a small area for clubbing etc but never went so cant say if decent.
Alcudia was fine too, old town was nice and plenty to do around that area.
Find cheap flights and book hotel to suit or book a cheap package, found most holiday spots in spain to be much and such really.

Santa Eulalia in Ibiza is a great place to go if it's just you and the missus.
We went there a few years back and loved it.Its a very chilled out place, great beach, decent places to eat and the locals are fantastic.
Only a 20 minute bus ride to Ibiza town and around the same for San Antonio if you want to do the nightclub thing.Ibiza town during the day is spot on too

Agree with the above. Santa Eulalia is lovely.

Then again, I know you are only 17 so it depends on your budget. Ibiza is more expensive compared to other Spanish islands.

Santa Ponsa in Majorca would be my suggestion. Not too expensive, plenty of Irish pubs and a half hour taxi from Magaluf if yous both fancy a night on the lash.

Taxi journey from Maga to Ponsa is actually only about 5-10 mins, was only costing us about €2 or €3 each to get there between four of us.

You'd nearly be better off staying in Ponsa because accommodation is cheaper, then just getting a taxi to Magaluf if you wanted to go there that badly.

Aye it's double cheap in a taxi and right next door. Ponsa is an alright shout I suppose and you know what your getting. No way would I recommend Magaluf with your missus. Full of absolute * as well..

Ibiza is expensive if your a teenager no doubt. The cheapest bit is San Antonio but again I wouldn’t recommend that either as it's full of wanks. I lost count one night at how many time's the bouncers absolutely battered * in the space of a couple of hour's on the main drag. Playa Den Bossa or the old town are much better, especially for the missus but your paying more. Worth it though..
