Since we appointed peter lawell we have basically made a profit every year going through players sales.... I was thinking of the millions we have wasted through the years and kinda tracked back a bit to 2003 when he was appointed

Now if you look at the last few years we have been getting poorer and poorer with our buys, you could look back and all these loanees and free transfers as well, gershon,du wei, el kadouri, etc etc We have signed about 150 players since 2003 and i can,t believe the amount of pish we have had at celtic to be honest its * brutal. We have profited millions on champions league moneys during this time as well and its been completely wasted at times.


The scouting system is a complete farce, some would argue hooper,wanyama,forster,izzaguire, etc were all good buys and i agree but its quite clear the chief executives business model has severly hampered us the current team are * brutal, 1st celtic team i have ever witnessed with very little creativity and a formation that doesnt work half of the time.....

I am personally blaming mr lawell for how bad we are now a days, The huns went bust and put a couple hundred of grand together and have played better football than what we have at times this season..... We are not improving we have gone backwards at 1 helluva alarming rate.....

The manager signed scepovic didnt give him a chance and sent him out on loan.... we just paid 3 million for him??? baffling ?

cifti....... 1.5 million.... sends him out on loan??? * is going on and who the * is calling the shots??? We cant afford to throw that kind of money away.

No wonder teams from scandinavia are pumping us the whole structure at celtic is a complete joke, from board room straight down to the management duo who dont know what the * there doing they should have been out the door at the start of the season, last years european campaign was a disaster the performances of some of them players was utterly shocking a was actually embarised for some of them.

We have had a few decent performances lately and i thought we had turned the corner but its quite clear the current players dont have the skill, fight, mentality to grind out a result in a big game, what are they doing on that training field if they cant string 7-8 passes in a row to each other ??? 10 yard passes???


The club needs a complete clear out from top to bottom, Mr lawell, Deila, collins the super scouts we have, The huns will be back up next year and instead of being miles in front of them what we should be i have a real fear they will catch us within 2 years time and that quite frankly is * sickening ..... The way we are being run just now its only a matter of time years of mismanagement from the very top !!!


The chief executive is getting it because he runs the club, its his show yet there are a few who will come in here and argue that deila will come good and lawell has been brilliant for us, cast your eyes back to previous seasons when we have banked fortunes and didnt bring in quality or spend a penny at the right time to clinch titles !!!

We are stuck in a league where the club cant possibly fulfill its potential !! Trying to get any players of quality to come here is virtually impossible nowadays !! We struggle to compete with championship teams moneywise and their league is a far higher standard as well !! The serious complaint I have with him is the amount of duds we have on our books crippling us financially , and it appears that year after year we get more of the same rather than 1 or 2 with a little more quality !!

 

DD lets PL run the club......DD wife let him buy the shares in celtic......so its her fault then.:smiley-laughing002:

Ludicrous to come up with that * if am honest, The chief executive was responsible for selecting and appointing a fisherman from norway who knew * all about celtic...... You trying to tell me your happy with the * were producing week in week out???

Got to ask your self what the * is going on at celtic wullie, signing wise its a complete farce, aye were not spending great money, but neither did our euro opponents, legia twice maribor, malmo,molde??? These minnows as we would call them operate on a fraction of the budget we operate on???

So there better run than us????


Managers do pick players and he has went and viewed and bought complete * because celtic is far too big for him them signings might have succeded at his former club not here.....

As a said above teams operating on a much lower budget have pumped us in europe and looked better..... its about having the correct people in place to find the talent. We have proved for over a decade that we do not

 

A bit harsh to call boyata a waste imo. Yeah he makes the odd dodgy pass but he only cost 1 million and he's still young.

 

In the past 5years alone we have made a profit of 26million in transfer fees alone.
In the past two years we have squandered the opportunity to generate 40-60million in champions league revenue.
In those same 2 years we have made 18million profit.
Should that 18million have been fully reinvested in to the playing squad, there is no doubt that we would have doubled, maybe even tripled the income from the transfer fees purely by buying players capable of playing in the champions league.


We need to stop buying projects and hoping to scrape through to the champions league. We need to actually buy players capable of playing in the champions league for our level, and then we will generate bigger revenue.


I think the term is, speculate to accumulate.

You think an accountant like Lawwell would know that one. But he seems happy to merely balance the books in an effort to not run a risk that one year we do not balance the books.

 

Ramble on all you like but PL still does not pick our players.

Yes every now and then a club will sign a player like gordon because it would be * stupid not to under those circumstances.
This does not mean once a manager comes into the club the club is then signing ever player since.
There is more evidence to support our signings are ronny's than there is to suggest its the CEO signing them.

Just because our signings are * and you hate PL does not make them his signings...no matter how badly you want another stick to beat him with.

DD is the guy in charge.....if you want to rant then he is the one you need to remove...not PL as that changes sweet * all.

A have probly been at parkhead more times this season than dermot, he,s doing a great job from over in ireland in running the club.... pl is the boss dd is the majority shareholder but he,s clearly not running the show


A never once said a hated peter lawell, a dont think he,s doing us as a club any favours, under his watch we have went backwards.... only an idiot would not see this................... each year it gets worse and worse he should have went out the door with tony mowbray


A also think lenny was * of because peter forced samaras out the door.... infact he had balde playing in the reserves for 2 years because he wouldnt be forced out and had him sign an agreement not to talk about it.

 

Phone your big pal DD and ask him he will be sitting in a penthouse in dublin looking at his online banking account right enough

Who is quite happy to do it by balancing the books without ever speculating to accumulate more for the club.
