In recent times, those new players that have a bad first game normally turn out to be great signings.
Berkovic and Juhninho both had good debuts, so here's hoping the recent trend continues!!!
Zura only had 20 mins, and you could see how gutted he was at missing the pen, I'll bet he plays a blinder in his next game as he will be determined to show the fans what to expect!

hmm its really weird that Zuraw didnt score, because he mosty scores, but there was some accident at work when he didnt score in World Championship in Korea&Japan, but result was settle. He really can shoot penalty, give him more time to adjust

apart from that missed pen, how was maciek performing? here in poland some papers say he was * cause he missed from the spot (well, schevchenko did it in the cl final didn't he ) and some say he was active, agressive, had fine 25 minutes and strachan was pleased with him. well, none of them actually watched that game live so i'd like to hear your opinions guys

 

You cannot judge someone in 20 mins to be honest Morol. However, he looked sharp and very intelligent. His passing and movement was good, don't forget, he did play a nice pass for Maloney to win the penalty. His penalty was very poor though, his run up was nervous and the shot was weak. Like someone said earlier, I wouldn't mind seeing him miss 200 friendly penalties, as long as he scores just one competative penalty. Looking forward to Tuesday now, hopefully he'll start against Leicester and we'll see more of him.

I agree with you guys. Zurawski need a little time to play his best. Penalty? - for me it's no problem... it was only friendly match. Hope, it's going to be a new era with new, fresh players. Champions league is waiting for us.
