Well, Lustig at CB with Tierney on the left and Janko on the right. Play Izzy down the left and have him and Roberts provide as much defensive support as possible.

Or Lustig and O'Connell with Janko on the right. Dont want O'Connell in but I'd rather him than Ambrose. Also, pray we can keep a clean sheet or nab one off them.

well * our luck....what the * is going on at the club with defenders...we just cant get a break.

ronny couldn't get a defence together for more than 5 or 10 games...now this season as well.

It's so hard to really progress as a team and as a unit when you can't get a solid settled defence and have to keep chopping and changing all the time. It's an absolute nightmare.

I said when BR first joined and spoke about a small squad its just not going to work due to the amount of players we always seem to have in sickbay.

Do other clubs have these problems or is it something at celtic,we seem to have atleast 2 defenders out most of the time.

With the regularity we are plagued with injury it just doesn't seem like bad luck anymore. Couldn't have came at a worse time, absolutely dreading the Astana games now.

I think we'd all take a draw in the away leg of the Astana game and get them back at Celtic park. He's a big loss if he is out with injury but we can get a result over there without him. Fingers crossed he's not injured.

Lustig Ajer Ambrose Tierney, is still a fairly decent defense.

Sit five in front of that and we'll be fine.

Say that's Forrest McGregor Bitton Brown Roberts

    Griffiths up front.

Astana will have their own problems at the back, but it's a nightmare. When we're trying to offload Ambrose, he's back in the team.

Ambrose wants to get as good a move as possible, so therefore it's an opportunity for him to do that.

However it will be a nervy affair, especially now, but we'll just have to hope everyone's fit for the second tie.

Ajer is injured. We have Ambrose, Lustig, Janko, Tierney, O'connell and Izzy to pick for defenders everyone else is injured bar Toure who didn't travel. Don't see Bitton featuring either.

We obviously knew this, why not use Toure as the wildcard ? Even just to play in the home leg. Really unsure of O'Connell. Think he'll be fine if we're sitting back, but don't fancy him if we're playing a high line. Depends on this mobs striker(s) right enough.

Edit - Just seen it's supposedly big Efe playing. Hopefully not a physical striker they have up front in that case.
