He was a really good winger. We sold him to Hearts for buttons. Big mistake.

Teemu Pukki. Had a tough first season and never really got a chance under Deila, apart from the Champions League qualifiers against KR. Now, I understand he was extremely frustrating at times and was invinsible in many games but I dont think he settled well his first season here. Never seemed to be amongst his teammates or well liked, despite his good start. I think he had the quality to succeed, but lost his taste forCeltic after the first season. I also think in Deilas style of play, that playing him on the wing would've worked well, and he still couldve had a future rather than being loaned out.

    Berget.

There would be world peace now if we had kept him apparently.

    Can't quote you Just_Keiran.

But good post :50: I'd agree with Hartley and Robson, Skippy, Kayal, Sammy and Ledley.

I'm not sure about Pukki, how did he get on after he left us?

Berget could have done a job for us on the subs bench, fate dealt us a blow there.

Scoring a healthy amount for Brondby right now. Also is regularly played on the right or left wing, like a Forrest or Armstrong would for us currently. He's got pace and vision, I think we should've given him a half season more to see if he could salvage something here.

Robson is the only real frustrating one for me personally.

We could have had 2 more seasons out of him as a first team player easily. When he left we lacked what he brought, was the most peculiar transfer at the time for me.

    Good list.

I would add Balde and Agathe to that. There's loads of players that just aren't fancied by a new manager for whatever reason. Matthews is probably the most recent that springs to mind.

Samaras goes without saying. Players with his invention and style of play can make the difference.

Robson is another obvious one. I wouldn't take back many of the ones who left us for England though.

You could be right, there was times when he looked good but it just seemed as you say like he lost interest and we never expected anything to happen when he played. When the player doesn't appear enthusiastic it's hard to think about making him imrpove. Good to hear he's doing well.

We could do with someone on the left wing though.

Pukki and Berget but as with a massive amount of players we have had, they had been judged far too quickly, called duds and passed on to another club.
