    32" Samsung something or other.

Had it for years, still doing the business so i will keep it until it blows up.
Daughter has our old LG 26" in her bedroom for her Playstation and that still going great - must be over 10 years old now.

Never been a fan of massive teles as i don't think it something that should be the showpiece of your house.
Also since my mate got a 50" tele in his tiny flat and it literally took up all of the wall and you were sat 6 feet away from it :56:
    Gave me a headache.

LG 3D tv the 3d is utter pish and was a waste of money cant remember the last time I tried to watch anything in 3d on it. Apart from that the tv is excellent picture wise. I should have got the smart version but I have been told there is an adaptor (?) that will allow it to be a smart tv.

Got a Viera LED smart telly, bought Panasonic because my old Viera plasma was so good. Only replaced the plasma because it was 720p and not 1080p and you notice it on PS4. Don't think you can go wrong with a Panasonic.

I have the first one,the 40 inch. Its perfect for our size of living room.Dint want to go any bigger as I felt it might flood the living room a bit,if you know what I mean. Can't fault the picture quality on it at all.Had it for a few months now and blows away our old Toshiba LCD.It's also very lightweight too.I noticed the difference in picture quality right away

Cheers bud, I think it could be the right option but I'm going to go into the store and see it up close I think.

What do you make of the 'curved' aspect, does it make much difference?

I got Sony one a few months ago fantastic for gaming but could not watch football streams or 40D or anything that needs a flash player which is a massive let down as the guy selling it said I would be able to watch anything so make sure your TV has that.

Ok, so I think I have narrowed it down to two choices now. Both Samsung, but one is 4K and the other isn't, which is where my dilemma comes in. Is it worth it going for an entry level 4k telly or would I be better going for a (judging by the ratings) very good full HD tv?

    These are the two here:
    FullHD
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5014565.htm

    4k
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4329677.htm

Honestly can't decide. The FullHD one probably edges it in quality of reviews but I'm not sure whether I'd notice the difference with the 4k.

edit: Looking back through what others have posted, a good couple have the Samsung 4K 6400 one, which is really similar to the 6000 version.
