    Sorry mate, but that's tripe... like saying we've loads of midfielders so we don't need a left winger. While all DM/LW may be midfielders, not all midfielders are DM/LW... that DM role is critical for us, particularly in europe, and if Brown or bitton get injured/suspended we're left with trying to bang a square peg into a round hole. We'll get caught with that in europe...

    This is position that seriously need looked at, at the moment we have 2 players who are comfortable enough to play in the 2 deep midfield spots.

    CELTIC are one of four clubs to have enquired about Rijeka captain Ivan Mocinic - but have yet to make an official move, according to the club.

    The 22-year-old midfielder has a £2.2 million release clause and Ronny Deila has sent his spies to watch the Croatian international.

    Rijeka are powerless to prevent their skipper from moving abroad because his agent insisted on the release clause.

    Sporting director Srecko Juricic said: "We're trying to prepare ourselves for every eventuality. Celtic, Dinamo Zagreb, Sampdoria and Lazio have all requested information.

    Think we would need at least 3 new defenders.
    Get rid of Efe and Mulgrew .
    Bring in 1 extra for cover and as you say, McGeady (if he would come back) and Mocinic.
    Mocinic, seeing as he is captain of current club could possibly compliment Brown in Midfield and cover for him when he is injured.

    If he gets picked he would be playing against Spain, Czech Republic and Turkey at a minimum in the Euro 2016 tournament which would give him time to get match fit for the Champions League 2016-17 season even if we wait until Summer to buy him.

    In fairness Johansen does have technical ability, we have seen it. His highlights reel also showed that, they can go a long way.

    In the case of this guy I really want it to happen. Seems to have a bit of dig about him but also plenty of energy, shades of Kayal, IMO.

    Plenty of experience for such a young guy too.

    I'd imagine it'd enter us into protracted negotiations to try to sign him for £2m, followed by us losing him to a championship/low premiership team for about 2.3-2.5m. Cue Lawwell with tough environment speech...
