    There are alternatives/subsitutes like amandel milk (which is actually not milk) and some recipes even say you can use water.

    I mostly use milk (sometimes unsweetened amandel milk) and a banana (sometimes berries), but no additional sweeteners such as sugar or honey.

    1 cup of oats...2 1/2 cups of water.... 1/2 a teaspoon of salt.........sorted...add milk after serving. :50:

    Water,oats,Salt That is Scots Porridge,after you have made it,then come the options to add,ie honey,milk,sugar etc etc

    Jesus christ...... nah, I usually have it with milk and maybe a bit of fruit whenever I do have porridge..... which is just a few times each month.
