    Did we or did we not sign an american during the summer but due to work permit issues,, loan him to a club in belgium??? Name anyone?? or whats happened to him

    I seem to remember a guy that we were interested in signing, and took on trial but decided against it. I might be wrong like, but don`t recall anything about a guy being loaned to Belgium.

    There was a recent story about us linking up with a Belgian team to farm out younger players to give them first team experience. That was only a couple of months ago though I`m sure.

    It's KF Oofstende, but no we haven't got an American there and we didn't take one on trial.

    He was given a trial. We passed. he went to a championship side they tried to get a work permit but failed.

    He was supposed to go and be joined by 2 other youth team players who would have been guaranteed first team football but it doesn't appear to have happened.

    I too remembering us signing a young colledge player who was supposedly amazing but we had to loan him out for work permit issues
