I wouldn't determine it a generalised view when im inherent Irish but born in Scotland and believe the IRA's cause was legitmate (that doesn't insinaute I agree with ALL the ra's operations, certainly some were terrible).

Thing is I like many others on this forum are born from the result of the British presence in Ireland, that will stay with me forever like many and I see no purpose for the United Kingdom to continue as its had its day - its ruined a lot in its capacity, both Economically and Consitationally while created refugee' in its demenour.

You're right. There are plenty of good guys especially soldiers who help people in many regions of the world, you don't need to tell me that I know I have met some, it wont change the fact many follow orders and conducted crimes thats the most important part.

Of course the Red Army have commited crimes, the raped and murdered civilians in WW2. The British be-headed civilians in Africa, Americas done the same in vietnam. I'm not naive to assume they didn't.

I'm saying in context - That when a soldier fights fascism I fully respect, this applies to the International Brigade - Thing is the International Brigade does not get the same or even a look into the lengths of the poppy does. Thats the reailty.

If bias is highlighting crimes, then so be it. I certainly wouldn't determine it bais, I would call it the reality of British war crimes.

Of course they have the right, they have no obligations to adhere to such - I don't agree with Deilas quotes after the game but he is a componet of having the right to do so and he excerised it.

I'm a Republican, and tolerating things I disagree with is a world I want to live in - that is the inevitable consequences of 'democracy'. People who oppose as such are advocating bans, that is fascism which I completely disprove.

I get the feeling since you believe us Celtic supporters are anti-british with no constructive reason other than using it as a 'trend' because of our political make-up as a Club. I see it in the Media, some even going to the lengths to suppress our right to sing rebel songs while wearing poppies with pride (the irony). I hope you're not under that illusion.

If Celtic were thinking of donating £10,000 to Poppy Scotland why not actually do something that has to do with Celtic instead and i am talking about a tribute to all the Celtic supporters and players who have died in war, for whatever cause and for whatever army.
A plaque commemorating them i think would have been sufficient and appropriate and the rest of the £10,000 could go to alleviate the hunger that is happening now in Scotland which is forcing an increasing number of people to use food banks.

When he was interviewed with Chris Sutton before the Molde game saying Boyata is good on the ball that to me signals he hasn't got a clue or has too much faith in mediocre players.

Also, I found it strange he stated van Dijk wasn't devloped on the ball - van Dijk is probably one of the best centre-halves that I know in Europe that has that techincal ability and uses it to his advantage which has seen him run through teams and score.

I honestly don't know what Deila is thinking but its clear hes turning into a disaster.

We cannot deny that Celtic players volunteered for the World Wars, I don't agree with donating to Poppy Scotland - I would find it more apprioprate if the Board made a Tribute piece like a plaque or something.

This also goes for every political aspect of our Club - There should be tribute for our role with the Irish National Foresters when the players and Glass supported a United Ireland, we hear nothing about this - Also Davitts role in the Club.

And who were the * up 'protesters' at Ross County? Members of Parliament?

The guys shouting over the minutes silence were Celtic football supporters at a football match. They have no business involving politics, by your logic.

If you are allowing the fans an opinion, then Deila is allowed his. That's the long and short of it, have one rule for one and one for another then your entire argument is defunct.

Deila has every right to express an opinion but it would probably help if he knew what it was he was having an opinion on.

And I still maintain he should be concentrating on other matter before worrying about what the support is getting up to.

Of course Deila is allowed an opinion.

He just happens to have the opinion that he wishes a certain group of supporters didn't voice their opinion (which, going by your logic is ironic in itself) and a certain group of supporters (myself included) don't agree with his - or that disgusting PLC statement - and wish they weren't made in the first place.

Why the * should he have to explain anything? To be honest this whole poppy * does my * * in year in year out - you've got the imperialist loving side who question those who choose not to wear one (bearing in mind that there is no obligation or laws to pin a stupid wee * plastic flower to your chest), and it's equally as bad when you get some from the other side questioning why poeple choose to wear them. Why not just go about your business and nevermind what other people are doing (even if truth be told I get a wee bit annyed at the sight of people wearing poppies - but that's my own personal issue)

Me personally? I couldn't give a * about the whole debace - I've never stood or personally done anything for a minute's silence in respect of any war casualties because I don't want to. Just because I don't respond to a governmental "tribute" put in place doesn't mean I don't respect any less poor * that got drafted up to fight a * political war, or feel any less for poor * that got blown up fighting Hitler and his cronies.

That is, if the remembrance day nonsense is only meant to honour the world wars..........

Deila, a Norweigan who's been in Scotland for a few short years makes a statement that the board have probably asked him to make. Who gives a *?

The rags have went to town with their coverage because they know fine well that it'll cause bickering and arguing among Celtic fans. Yet another story that helps turn our support against our manager.

You would think most of us had been around long enough to know that's how these twats work.

Och ano Dave, hard not to get a bit miffed off when your manager is coming out and spouting the PLC line when the * has enough to do in terms of proving his job ON the pitch!

As for that statement those * put out, I'm furious. How dare they say that certain people have no right to be Celtic supporters.

If you can't understand James McCleans reasoning for not wearing a poppy then you are a moron.

The rags also hope that running with yesterday's events at Dingwall for 2-3 days will take some of the heat for the stripping of titles off their beloved establishment club.

He made it crystal clear that he doesn't understand the issue. He was commenting on a section of the support disrupting a silence, not the logistics and semantics of The Troubles.

So what you are suggesting then is if he had qualified for The Champions League and we were top of our Group he'd be allowed an opinion? But because our European form is sketchy he isn't?

You can agree or disagree (I have my own views) but you cannot deny him his right to voice his displeasure. If you do that then you remove the rights of anyone to protest or voice theirs.
